1. Oia
Our first stop will be the village of Oia, the most famous village of Santorini on the north side of the island. At this unique place, visitors can admire the historical houses which have been built in niches inside the volcanic bedrock and the blue-roofed churches. Moreover, the adorable views from this location will make you feel relaxed and will give you the chance to take the first photos for your album.
2. Firostefani
Next stop on our tour-schedule is the village of Firostefani, the “crown of Fira”, which owes its name to its elevated position. The stunning views of Fira and the volcano from the village will stay in your memory for good. We will go on for a photo shooting visit of the famous Blue Domed Church, an iconic church that has adorned the cover of so many guidebooks of Santorini.
3. Monastery of Profitis Ilias
Another unforgettable experience is awaiting at Profitis Ilias, once we reach the summit of Mountain Profitis Ilias (Prophet Elijah), the highest point of Santorini at an altitude of 600 meters above sea level. Here, we will explore the area of the homonymous historical monastery and take more photographs of the panoramic view from this amazing vantage point.
4. Pyrgos
The village of Pyrgos, which is located at the foot of Mountain Profitis Ilias, will be the first traditional village of our tour. This place offers us trademark panoramic views of both sides of Santorini, while it retains features of the Venetian rule. Moreover, the traditional Cycladic houses and pathways placed all around the old Venetian castle make Pyrgos Village a place not to be missed.
5. Red Beach
The red beach in Akrotiri is undoubtedly worth a visit, given that it is a rare sight, probably unique in the whole world, where red is the dominant color. It is surrounded by steep red hills that create a captivating, wild landscape. If you stand on the top, you will see huge volcanic rocks located in the sea, small pebbles and sand of various colors, mainly red, all over the beach, and attractive dark blue waters.
6. Akrotiri Archaeological Site
Akrotiri village is home to two historical treasures that are the main attractions of the village. One of them is the archaeological site of Akrotiri, a very important prehistoric city of the Aegean sea that is completely worth a visit. You can walk through it and see frescoes, artifacts, furniture, modern drainage systems, and even multi-story buildings from the bronze age.
7. Akrotiri Lighthouse
This beautiful structure makes a really good target to walk to. You will be rewarded with fabulous views over the Aegean Sea and surrounding islands.
8. Pyrgos
Pyrgos is surrounded by blue domes of churches and vineyards. Here and there you will find small galleries and shops hidden in nooks and crannies as you make your way through successive, ascending, and descending alleys. In the lower part of the village, there are several tourist shops, minimarkets, hospitable restaurants and taverns with delicious food and cafes, most of which are located around the main Circular square.
9. Perissa Black Sand Beach
At this point of our tour it will be our pleasure to take you for a swim at the dazzling crystal clear waters of the famous Black Beach (also known as Perissa) if you wish. This seaside area actually forms the tip of the long black sand beach of Perivolos and is, without a doubt, the busiest and most remarkable beach of Santorini.

This tour was absolutely perfect for us! Mr. Kostas was exceptionally knowledgeable and tailored the day to meet our individual desires. My husband spent 2 hours drinking in the archeological dig at Akrotiri!
We were treated to breathtaking vistas accompanied by engaging commentary from Mr. Kostas. We highly recommend this tour.

Nikos was very knowledgeable about Santorini and brought us to all the beautiful spots in Santorini. We saw all of Santorini in 8 hours, including Akrotiri, red sand beach and black sand beach.
His car is very comfortable and he is a good driver.
I would highly recommend Santo Luxury Escape!

Awesome 8 hour private day tour with Nikos!! We knew we had a short time frame and wanted to make the most of it - got to see the Red and Black beach, Mt Prophet Elias, Akrotiri Lighthouse, Megalochouri, Pyrgos, Perissa, Fira, Oia, Wine Museum with wine tasting, and more! It was way more than a taxi service as Nikos is a true native Santorinian and truly knows the island, including the people on it! He took us to several spots where the natives eat and the flavors were so much better than the touristy spots! We enjoyed our time and learned a lot about the culture. Fantastic personalized, fun day!! Highly recommend!!

Nikos was very fun, polite, and knowledgeable. His english is top notch and he truly knows everyone there....well almost everyone. If you want a guide that shows you everything and teaches you want to do and NOT to do. NIKOS IS YOUR GUIDE!

The all day private guided tour with Nikos was wonderful. I’d definitely recommend it. He picked us up in an air conditioned, smoke free Mercedes Benz van that sat 5-6 people. He took us all over Santorini in a way to avoid the crowds, told us about each place, and even took great photos for us! His English is very good. Definitely worth it!

I can’t thank Nikos Drosos of Santo Luxury Escape enough!! I enjoyed myself so much that I came right home and posting this.. Nikos was a TRUE gentleman and professional.. We originally had my tour booked at 9am this morning and he contacted me the day prior that we should leave earlier like at 815am.. Whatever he says, do…. We got to Oia before all the rush and crowds and HEAT!! He is a true professional.. Supplied water twice on the tour (I treated once but he beat me too it) and one surprise and treat I will never forget.. You have to find that out for yourself when you do a tour with Santo Luxury Escape.. I can HONESTLY say I the entire island in its entirety.. I originally booked 8 hours to play it safe but traveling alone I was done about 5-6…. No rush, my speed…. He was very easy to talk too.. I am an openly gay single male and he made me feel very comfortable and relaxed in my environment.. He looked at me as a PERSON and we shared many stories.. If it wasn’t for Nikos, I would have thought Santorini was only Fira and Oia.. He never rushed me and was ALWAYS on time when he said he was going to meet up…. I can definitely see why he is booked far in advance.. I would definitely recommend seeing the beautiful of island with Nikos or the staff of Santo Luxury Escape.. He showed me MANY hidden gems that the average traveler would have NEVER found!! Thank you Nikos, a new friend, not just my tour guide..

Nikos was so easy and amazing to communicate with through WhatsApp! He gave so many suggestions and set us up with his partner Mr. Kostas to take us on a 6 hour day tour in which Nikos helped us customize. The experience was wonderful and worth every penny! Highly recommend!
