The Sanctuary of Truth is an architecture marvel composed entirely of wood without any metal nails. Constructed to preserve the building techniques of the past, the building exemplifies hand-hewn woodworking skills in Thailand. Built based on the religious philosophy of impermanence, the complex features four wings dedicated to Thai, Khmer, Chinese and Indian religious iconography respectively. At the beginning you have to wait - then an announcement and the people gather and are then instructed. Bare knees and bare shoulders are not desired and you have to buy the right ingredients then we have to climb down and are always accompanied by the loud voice of the guide. --- the sanctuary is a beautiful building with an incredible number of beautiful carved figures and columns. It is absolutely worth seeing.
But a lot of money is made from the sanctuary. There are massages. Horse and elephant rides. There are restaurants. And we were relatively happy that we could leave the area with all the people overflowing.
I don't think that the builder of this wonderful sanctuary imagined it would be like this.

It's so beautiful you can hardly believe your eyes. It's so beautiful. The entire castle is made of wood and has beautiful carvings. When you visit there are some parts that are still being built and carved.
