We really enjoyed this trip. We had more tome to feed the reindeers, and take photos. Delicious coffee, tea, hot chocolate and reindeer stew. The sami people warmly invited everyone one. They are very kind and friendly. They have provided several information about The reindeers and sami culture

This was the highlight of our trip to Tromsø. The feeding of the reindeer was fun, the food- reindeer stew- was good and hearty. The learning of the Sami culture was fascinating!
The sled ride is okay- just so cold and the fault of the tour company. However due the high volume of people ( high season) they just could not manage the Waiting around time well. We waited almost two our to the sled ride pushing everything back by 30 minutes. The tour promised a 30 minute ride but it was shorted to 10 minutes.

Love the reindeer feeding experience. The sharing of the Sami culture was great too. Would be better to do morning as sun sets early in winter time.

Was an amazing experience, I didn’t know anything about Sami , I would recommend 100 percent to do this activity, if you are afraid cuz you think they are cruel to the animals, we help them a lot to pay for their food and to keep the Sami family still going strong …

It was a great and memorable experience as it really brings you close to the reindeers as well as nature. Not only did it expand your love for the animals and environment, the Sami people there were inviting and kind and also taught us their ways and a lot of interesting stories and information about their lives. I highly recommend you visit.

We had a truly fantastic and meaningful experience visiting the Sami camp outside of Tromso. I loved seeing and feeding the reindeer. They are so cute, but as the Sami guides will tell you, they aren't all that cuddly and don't really want to be touched much. However, they will come right up to you when you have food to offer them! Other than feeding them, we got to take a sled ride with the reindeer, attempt to lasso the reindeer horns (not attached to the reindeer still), have a lovely lunch with hot drinks, and then we got to listen to the Sami joik, their traditional singing, and a Sami woman gave us lots of info about their culture, traditions, and history. All in all, a wonderful experience I would definitely recommend.
