The tour was well paced and beautiful. The guide was nice but did not have a lot of information. Overall good for the sights.

It was cold. However the mountains were beautiful. This trip is not good if you want to see the sound of music. The bus stops are so expensive please bring your own food. Salzburg best in the summer I think

Our tour guide was hard to hear and boring. We thought that we'd learn some history of Austria on the long drive from Vienna but did not. Also, the tour was way too long.

Very nice. A long day, but very worth it. Our guide was very informative and took us to see the important sights, but we also had plenty of free time to explore on our own. Would recommend.

Let's get one thing straight, Salzburg is beautiful. The city and surrounding area were amazing from the mountains to the lakes and lakes to the rivers. The guide was horrible. She spoke incredibly low and continued to turn her back to half of the group when talking. I honestly learned nothing from the guided tour. When she was told about her low volume, she didn't care and continued to talk low. The price for this trip is highly inflated. You are basically paying for the bus ride. It is much cheaper to catch a train from Vienna to Salzburg for about 40 euros (including there and back for that price) and book a free walking tour. Definitely not worth the. money. If I could give the tour 0 stars, I would. Do yourself a favor and just take a train.

The trip is over 600 km, but we do not feel it at all. The bus is very comfortable and the driver is very experienced. Our tour guide, Tomas, was superb. He explained every one of the sights to be seen and the various lakes and the historical context expertly. Highly recommended.
The views in Salzburg are wonderful, and a must-see from the top after the Furnicular ride.

A trip with lots of history well explained. Time bound it was but with adequate information about which various attractions were available it was easy to choose what to visit.

Wish had more time like for Budapest at least, i.e 3 hours free time! Good Walk tour guide Hans ! too much road time, the pit stops too short to be in line for food, fight the crowd for options, go to cashier and eat and go to bathroom! Impossible to do it all! All rush, rush, rush! Stressful! Not really handicap friendly either! Comfortable.bus though! Glad there was a pick up from hotel because advertised so but was told several times it wasn’t possible but finally arranged and agreed upon!

Great bus/transportation, communication with tour operator, service, driver, guide on board, and great guide in Salzburg. However, the group was about 30 people; too many people to move around and to listen to what the guide explained so well. Recommended but with less people in the group.

If I knew what that town is like, I’d never sign up. There is nothing wrong with the tour company, our tour guide was great, kind, pleasant, super intelligent, spoke probably 4-5 languages at least. Our bus was clean, safely driven and on time. The stops they made had great food options, very tasty, even if a bit overpriced. It’s just that Saltzburg is such a tourist trap destination. The Christmas markets there were colorful but no different from ones in Vienna. Shops were all closed for Christmas holidays. After city tour, there is not enough time to go to Mozart museum and eat somewhere. The town is attractive but definitely not anything extraordinary.
