This is a great tour and our guide
(?) Mauve has extraordinary knowledge of St Chapelle & Conciergerie & Notre Dame. This is a tour for those who want to hear and learn a lot.
The wait to jump the queue and get into St Chapelle grounds was only 5 minutes.

The tourist guide was some 15 min late unprepared. I think she might a temporary substitute for another person . Poor English . It is a euro 100 small group tour , I was expect better service than this .

We had a reservation for 1:00PM.but was cancelled. We were told via text message that we could join the 2:30 tour. We arrived at the meeting spot but no one ever showed up. We ended up doing the tour on our own and having to pay for another ticket

The Conciergerie and Sainte-Chapelle were definitely worth seeing, and the advanced tickets I got through Viator made that ever so much simpler. The tour operator stayed in good touch with me, so all of that was perfect - 5 stars. The reason I down rated this was our guide. She had a very heavy Japanese accent and she tended to talk too fast. That made it difficult for us (and other guests on the tour) to understand her. In addition, she was always in a rush. She was frequently 20 or 30 meters ahead of the group, which made it hard to see her in the big crowds. The distance made the volume in the headsets decrease which just added to the difficulty understanding her. A suggestion for the future: the Conciergerie had virtual reality pads available. Our guide grabbed on and used it a few times. It would have been better if she given us all time to grab the pad and then use that on the tour. She just seemed to be in too big a rush for that. So, overall, great job for Viator and the tour operator, great sites to see, but a different guide would have made it so much better.

Marie was incredibly knowledgeable, easy-going and witty. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour to Saint-Chapelle, Le Palais and Marie Antoinette’s tomb.
