This was definitely the highlight of our trip. We had actually tried to do a different sailing excursion where you are on with other people and were unable to book that. And I’m SO GLAD!!! My husband and I had the boat to ourselves and Captain Jimbo taught us so much. He actually let us sail most of the time and it was AMAZING!!! He did a great job when we first boarded the boat of making us feel safe and letting us know what to expect. We are boaters but have never sailed or been on a sailboat, so we were absolutely thrilled to just to go sailing, let alone learn so much and be at the helm. If we are fortunate enough to make it back to PR, this will definitely be on our to do list.

My best friend and I booked the afternoon cruise - we both grew up sailing with my dad and were hoping to be able to get in a lesson. Jimbo was up for the challenge of reacquainting a couple of rusty sailors with is amazingly skilled sailor and great teacher. He had us steering the boat, hoisting the sails, tacking and trimming in no time at all!
Captain Jimbo was great at explaining the concepts - I would 100% recommend taking a cruise with him if you're remotely interested in sailing.
Even if you're just wanting to take a sailboat cruise, Jimbo is your guy - he is a great host and a knowledgeable tour guide. He told us a lot about the sites and history of San Juan as we made our way out of Bahia de San Juan.
I would sail with Jimbo again - a trip with him is on the list for my next trip to Puerto Rico!

We had a great sail with Captain Jimbo! He was very informative, teaching us sailing basics and letting our teenage son steer most of the trip. We also learned about the islands and saw dolphins. Highly recommend.

Capt. Jimbo welcomed us and shared his knowledge and wisdom with us. My other half sails and he let her steer the ship and help with the sailing. She loved it. He was kind and gave her tips about sailing and winds etc. The sunset was beautiful and it was so cool to see San Juan from another perspective.

Truly exceptional! Beautiful scenic views of San Juan. Our guide customized the entire trip for our family and was beyond anything we expected. Essentially the same price as a group sail for the ultimate private experience.

I came with my GF and we learned a bit about sailing. Can sort of be a bit of a sailing lesson if you're interested in that, or I think James is happy to sail for you if you don't want that.
