Diana was a wonderful guide. Her enthusiasm made us enjoy every minute. Though we only saw a fraction of the rooms in the palace, we got a real sense of life there. We were lucky to be in a very small group which made it easy to maneuver and ask questions. The only negative was the meeting place. Had we not googled the monument to Felipe IV, we would not have found it. It is not clearly marked.

We were only 5 people, and Carla made sure that we were able to enjoy the trip. She was knowledgeable and did a great job.

Not great I am afraid. We weren’t able to have the tour, but did get entry to the palace. Apparently we were too late in the day to have the guided tour part of the tour. Other groups were having their ‘guided’ part while we were there, but not us. Some of the information we should have had during the tour was offered after we exited the palace. Apparently we needed to enter the palace itself before 4pm or we couldn’t have the guide guiding us. The guide was late (10 minutes or so) to the meeting point, but not all the blame was hers as some guests were even later. Nevertheless the guide must take most of the responsibility. No refund or part refund was offered to the best of my knowledge. Palace itself is very worth seeing and there are many pieces of information in English as well as Spanish.

We did not understand this was with a guide & that we would meet off site. Then when I tried to contact Viator the response was extremely slow & difficult to use without internet. Then because the group was delayed getting in to the venue the guide was not permitted to give us the actual tour. All in all it was frustrating and worthless.

Our tour guide showed up late and took a long time to pass out the headphones. Our tour was supposed to start at 3:30. Because we didn’t get into the palace until 4:15 (with 4:00 being the tour guid cutoff) she was not able to give us any information while we walked around. It was an unguided tour and we couldn’t even get her self guide because we were with a guide
I asked for a refund and tripadvisor only gave a 30% refund. It was terrible!
After many years of using TripAdvisor, I will no longer book them

It was just okay. It was in both Spanish and Italian so hard to understand. The palace is amazing and worth a void to though.

The palace is amazingly beautiful. The tour guide gave a good overview of everything we saw but was not an expert of history. Recommend tour

Could have done just as well with an audio tour on our own. Guide was hard to understand, the microphone she talked into created a lot of static noise. The guide also walked & talked too fast.

The tour guide didn’t seem engaged and sometimes rushed. The Spanish and English narrative also meant we literally had no clue what he was instructing us or telling us at least half the time. (He naturally had a preference for Spanish and would always speak in Spanish first).
Nb. The tone wasn’t set well as we were all at the meeting point wondering where he was and he was just sitting on a bench nearby but making no attempt to engage or show himself and he came over finishing his lunch. A little strange as I think for me and my children that first impression matters.
