Linda took us on an extraordinary journey through the heart of Edinburgh. She brought the history to present day - the Royal Mile, the Queens and Kings of Scotland and the architecture of Closes and Wynds and hidden courtyards. Adding the castle entry was great. Fantastic tour led by Linda from the Mercat tour team. The audio headsets made the experience more immersive, taking you away from the noise of High street. Linda was very knowledgeable about the city and tailored the information to the countries of origin of the tour participants. Highly recommend ! ????????

Excellent tour by Charles with lots of great stories and interesting historical facts. He really knows his stuff and kept it interesting. It was the perfect length and pace. Highly recommend this tour to fit in all the best bits of the Royal Mile.

Veni was our guide for the tour and she was easy to follow and her description of the history of Edinburgh was interesting and clear.
It was a cold day and many spots we stopped were exposed and made it more challenging to keep the family engaged.
