Pick up was confusing. They said I was late to the meeting point but I was there right at 8:00 as scheduled. They had Mr Jones on the card, no first name. Jones is a very common last name so I was trying to make sure they had the right person and the guy just kept yelling at me to confirm that I was Mr Jones. We were then told to meet our driver at the same spot where we were dropped off but after about 30 min waiting we had to meet up with one of the Viator reps who had us join about 50 other people and then walked us about a half a mile to a bus depot and put us on a charter bus back to our ship. I booked this for the direct to and from the ship guarantee and because it was a small group. I didn't want a large tour bus or else I would have booked an excursion. The whole thing was very unorganized and disappointing.

We only took the transfer one way but it was great! Driver was on time & easy to find at the hotel pick up area.

No communication had to wait over 30 mins for pick up not same vehicle that we arrived in or location for pick up did not respond to messages on the app

Easy pick up on both ends. Comfortable, clean vehicles. Polite drivers. Made getting to & from Pompeii simple & easyCouldn’t ask for more.

Driver had no English. Agreed meeting place and 4.00 pick/up time with second driver. By 4.30 no car. Taken to Pompei help desk where one of your staff was sitting. Help staff were excellent and got a taxi for us. Panicking. Time was getting on and we had to back on board by 5.30. We would have missed ship if we weren’t helped by Pompei/Italian staff.

With the crazy traffic in Naples our driver was on time and got us to Pompei on time. The return trip was a little different. Not the same driver. Waited a little longer than expected but everything worked out fine.

I was a little uncertain after reading the reviews specifically about head out. But I figured Viator is legit, so why not. The actual transport service was provided by Project Napoli Service. They had nice vans like the ones pictured, the drivers were great and very helpful. Seems I was worried for no reason. I highly recommend Project Napoli Service for your transportation to Pompeii.

Great way to get to Pompeii. The vehicle was clean & our drivers were on time for both legs of our trip. Driving in Napoli isn’t for the faint of heart (or probably anyone not from Napoli…I’m happy we had this super easy transport both directions!

This was supposed to be for a shuttle transfer to and from our cruise port in Naples to Pompeii. So we booked a separate tour and when we got there, we discovered it was also a tour. The time on my voucher said return at 4:15 which we were there early but found out the bus left without us. We almost didn’t make it back to the cruise port before the ship left and only because we talked another bus driver in to taking us. I will never book with them again

Exactly what we needed, a fantastic driver to take us to Pompeii where we had plenty of time to check out the grounds ourselves. Then dropped us back to the hotel.
