Our guide Cam was so awesome! It was such a cool river to raft on and the waterfall was so epic! Would definitely do it again! Our favorite part was when we were able to jump out and swim down one of the rapids! Highly recommend for sure.

The rafting was amazing! Sam our guide was great fun & very safety conscious;
We were told what to prep for before each rapid which made it pure fun to go down and enjoy!
We’ll definitely be back on the rapids again with Rotorua Rafting & fully recommend it!

A fantastic morning of adventure for our two families, enjoyed by all age groups. The arrival was friendly & chaotic but worked and we were quickly suited up and ready to get on with our adventure. The good nature & typically kiwi humor was at the forefront at all times but with a good dose of underlying safety we always felt confident in our guide and in the experience as a whole. Sam was fantastic at keeping us laughing while keeping us informed each step of the way, the added challenge of having non-english speakers in our group was taken in his stride. The Kaituna is a beautiful river to raft, the ability to get out and swim/flat during the journey was awesome and something that we've not been able to do before. We have rafted the Kaituna before with other companies but this would be our best experience hands down and we'll definitely be back!

Lucas, our guide, rocked our world! He was amazing! The river was amazing! The rafting was amazing! We were ready to do another tour as soon as we got off the river! The photographer was amazing. LOVE our pics...great memories!

We had been looking forward to this experience since arriving in NZ and it did not disappoint!
Justin was an excellent guide for our family and made sure our 13 and 14 year old had an awesome time…we loved it too!
The photos were spectacular, but the rafting even better!

I would give more stars if I could!! The Rotorua Rafting team from start to finish was amazing - incredibly professional, enthusiastic, crazy fun and brought forward the unique experience of this unreal rafting adventure.
Stan, our guide, was full of energy and knowledge - he brought pure joy as we all celebrated the very end of the year Dec 31, 2023!! He clearly provided us with the important safety aspects, educated us with a look at the original New Zealand flora and along with all of this his skill on the rapids and the river was phenomenal!!

A wonderful rafting experience. I never did rafting over a waterfall before. Great guides and safety was taken into consideration at all times. The river had more obstacles than some other rivers, but that was part of the fun. Multiple groups were participating at the same time, and this was also helpful - when the current is stronger and you are swimming outside the raft (at one short point of the journey this was part of the plan), the guides of the other groups can help to get you back to the boat. Amazing scenery!!!

Amazing adventure. We were a bit nervous as we have never been rafting before ( or spent much time in the water at all) However Peaches our incredible guide made us feel safe and comfortable. after arriving at the river it was obvious that Peaches and the crew at Rotorua Rafting were well prepared and safety was their priority.
