Rose Island Half-Day Snorkeling Cruise

This was a wonderful excursion! We were on a cruise and were picked up right at the foot of the cruise port dock. Our guides were friendly and knowledgeable, sharing lots of information about the area and the sea life. They also made sure we had snacks, sodas, and rum punch. We were taken to snorkel in areas with tons of fish as well as sea turtles without crowds of other boats. During the beach stop we had the beach completely to ourselves! We were able to explore the beach island and were taken to see a beautiful overlook and native peacocks. I highly recommend this excursion!

We had the best time on this excursion!! The captain and his assistant were so friendly, relaxed and professional. They were right on time and wasted no time getting us started. We got a harbor tour, swam with pigs, saw some turtles (couldn't snorkel because of shark in the area) and snorkeled near pearl island for a bit. It was pretty choppy when we were out, so we kind of had to switch the itinerary up by checking out rose island a bit more. Wouldn't have changed a thing and will definitely book with them again if we are ever back in Nassau!

Had a great trip! There were 6 of us. Two kids. Saw so many beautiful things. Crew was super nice, knowledgeable and when our kiddos were getting tired, they pushed for one more site and it was the best part of the day!!

Great 1/2 day trip! Easy communication and the captain was able to arrange for transfers to and from the marina. The whole experience was smooth.

The kids had a blast! Even though one of my kids did not care to go snorkeling, they helped keep her engaged and pulled up the boat so she could see the turtles thru the crystal clear water.

Brought a bit of bait on board so my husband could do a touch of fishing as well.

Our favorite part of our stay in the Bahamas! Thank you for a great day!

This was an awesome tour! Lots of great fish and turtles to see while snorkeling. The crew was so fun to hang out with! We loved to hear about the islands we visited. This half day cruise made our trip so memorable!! 100% recommended!!

Cap and Dillon were very accommodating! We had the best time. Snorkeling with turtles in the clear was was the highlight of our trip! Highly recommend!

I have never taken the time to write a review, but this experience deserves a 5 star review! We went on this excursion March 1, 2024, and we had an amazing time!

From the time we booked, communication was quick and simple. We had some questions about pick up and drop off because we were coming in on a cruise ship. Everything was explained clearly, and we had no problems with the pick up or drop off.

Cap Missick and Dillon were so friendly and accommodating for our group. We had a group of ladies with different levels of experience in the ocean. It was wonderful to see how much thought was put into everything from music, to what we would enjoy seeing most, to ensuring everyone in the group could experience each portion of the excursion safely and comfortably. Everyone in the group was patiently and kindly accommodated and included, which was wonderful.

We saw amazing homes and sights along the way to our first stop, which was where we got to swim with the sea turtles. It was an experience of a lifetime! They are so beautiful, and the water was clear making it easy to see them. When it was time to go to the next stop, Dillon “towed” a couple of us slower swimmers back to the boat to help us out.

We then stopped at an empty beach with clean sand and clear water, which was gorgeous! Captain Missick arranged a space for the boat to anchor in shallower water so everyone could easily get to shore - with feet touching the bottom - to enjoy the beach.

Our final stop was at a reef with a lot of tropical fish. Anyone who wanted to get in and snorkel some more was more than welcome to go out again. (We found Dory!)

Along the way, Dillon took photos for us and air dropped them to us on the ride back. We were provided water, sodas, rum punch, and snacks too. Cap Missick and Dillon were so friendly and fun. Our only regret was not doing this trip sooner. Cap Missick, we’ll be back! Thank you for an amazing day we’ll never forget. This was the highlight of our trip!

PERFECT! We were skeptical that these guys could live up to the hype and their reviews….boy were we wrong! Capt Missick and Mate Bullard were wonderful! This was the absolute best part of our vacation. We snorkled off a reef with no one else around, went to Green Cay and swam with the sea turtles, and the we went to a private island! White sandy beaches, sunshine, and the time of our lives…and our 4 children loved every second of it! They did not want to leave. We felt safe and the boat was so clean. I cannot recommend these guys enough!!!! Thank you for making our vacation. The communication was amazing too. Not one flaw could be found.

We recommend this tour. IT WAS A EXPERIENCE NEVER TO FORGET ON BEAUTIFUL BAHAMA’s!
We have booked this tour with our family (6 adults and 1 child). We went snorkling with a small boat at sea and we’ve seen a lot of beautiful fish and turtles. Went to Rose Island - what a beautiful beach! The captain and his crew from 4 WINDS TOURS made it extra special with their friendlyness and great story’s. It was a great day!
