This was an amazing tour with Selenia! She's the best. We learned so much about the Colosseum, the Roman Forum and the rest of the area. Selenia made the tour fun and had great humor mixed in. I definitely recommend!

Wonderful visit with our guide Luigi!!!! A spring morning with ideal weather.... It all starts with the entrance to the Roman forum (WOUAHHHH so crazy!!), then the climb to the Palatine Hill to gain some height!!!
Then finally, entry into the immense Colossal (The Colosseum), with its reconstruction of the arena where gladiators and wild animals once entertained!!
All this in 2h30 with detailed explanations from Super Luigi, who comes with his expertise and his little stories to project you into life at the time of the Roman Empire! Method of construction, life of emperors, life of the Romans and the famous anachronism (SPQR)!!!
In short, a walk that immerses you in a peplum 👍!!!!
Well done Crowntours and Grazie mille to Luigi!!!

Pleasant despite the rain. The explanations were so clear that there were no more questions to ask and Rosalia's pretty little accent sprinkled everything with good humor.

Excellent tour with Diane. She was very knowledgeable and gave us a great insight into Ancient Rome. It took a few minutes to fully understand her accent but then it was fine.

We enjoyed touring the Coliseum and part of the Forum. Our guide Giuseppe was not very good, he just repeated about 4 different facts. He guides about 7 times a year, he should retire. Too many people are allowed in the Coliseum, thousands, so it’s very crowded. We went on a sunny day of about 80 degrees…summer must be brutal. Lots of steep steps and very few railings so you should be fairly fit. Views are great, but our guide… not so much.

Rome efficient and professional with lots of charm.
Our guide, Mira Kempf, led us through the program for three hours at a good pace with lots of charm and very good knowledge. Even our teenagers were fully involved until the end.
The comprehensive knowledge and the many side aspects were very good to hear.
All in all, well done and worth the price.

This was the highlight of our week. We booked in advance to get the 9am start which was brought forward to 8.30. So worth it as we were straight through the entrance and quick through security. You must not forget your ID as need this several times. We were the first group on the Arena floor and JC our guide was very knowledgeable. I loved the Colloseum however the wow was Palantine Hill and the forum just the history and number of buildings views etc. Once again JC got us through the checkpoints quickly and showed us many highlights. This did feel a little rushed however would be impossible to visit/tell you everything. He left us near the exit, cafe, toilets but we stayed another 2.5 hours at our leisure and saw so many other parts. We even said hello as he brought his afternoon group through. Our advice would be to stay explore at your leisure its an amazing place!!!

We spent the most amazing time with our guide Valerio who had worked as an archaeologist around the area of the colosseum and knowledge of the ancient areas was amazing. Well worth a visit with Valerio as a guide 10/10

I came across this proposition by chance via Get Your Guide. I was alone with my 10-year-old son and I wanted him to understand the history and essential elements of the Colosseum.
I absolutely do not regret my choice: Colosseum, Palatine Hill and Roman Forum, it was incredible. But this was mainly due to our fabulous guide Rosalia who transported us throughout the visit. She knows the story like the back of her hand, is very pleasant and gets the children involved. A big thank you to Rosalia!

Did you know that the Coliseum was also a church?
Our tour guide was an actual archaeologist with decades of excavation experience on the area!
