Just finished our Vatican tour with Adriano.
Excellent tour, excellent knowledge and a really nice guide.
Never done this type of thing before so was skeptical to it's value but after that would probably only do this kind of thing in future.
Superb

Good and informative tour. Our tour guide Isabella was very chatty and answered all questions. Felt much more comfortable with a guide as it is very busy. The queue was 2 hours on the day we went but we skipped the queue by booking this tour. Can highly recommend. Able to join the queue for the Dome at the end of the tour.

The guide was excellent but the entire experience was not great. No reflection on the guide or the tour company but the ridiculous crowds made it intolerable at times. It was difficult to stay with the group and still take in the beauty of the art. This is not for people who really want to enjoy the religious art.

Excellent tour. Allow time to find the meeting point. It was lovely to be able to follow the guide through the crowds and be shown all the best things that you might miss on your own. The 'short cut' route the tour guides are allowed to take to the Basilica was interesting too and our guide gave us loads of interesting information whilst allowing us time to stop and take it all in, especially in the Sistine Chapel. Was pleased we took the tour including the Basilica as it was still a very long queue to get in even though it was mid October. Tip: If you don't fancy climbing to the top of the Dome after the tour (a huge amount of steps and you can't go back if you change your mind apparently!), you can get excellent views from Castel Sant Angelo (fabulous cafe) and the Monument to Victor Emmanuel 11 (which has a lift to the top)

Brastours did a great job with our tour. (also did Coliseum/Forum tour with them). Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel were both super crowded but Stephania, our guide, kept our group of 15 together, kept us moving, and provided wonderful commentary to the works of art and buildings. I would recommend this tour! Convenient meeting place at their offices near the Vatican.

Tour guide was good. Small group of 16 people. Very very crowded in Vatican museum which is common for this time of year. Guide explained all facts well and was very knowledgeable. Would recommend.

Sound system not good. Too many people talking and crowded into Sistine Chapel. Not enough time to truly view the paintings
