The meeting point of the Twilight Trastevere Food Tour is on "Isola Tiberina” or Tiber Island, in English. Your guide will meet you right in the center of the square by the San Bartolomeo church, next to a tall pointy monument.

Carolina was amazing! So funny, warm, and charming. She made us feel instantly welcomed. It was a great tour, stopping off at 6 different locations, skipping lines, and being treated to the best of the neighborhood. I was impressed by the knowledge of our guide. I was also impressed by the amount of food and drinks that were offered. We had a several vegetarians or non-drinkers in our group and they were accommodated without it being awkward. Do this trip!

The food was tasty, a nice variety. The wine and beer were delightful. The guides were knowledgeable and friendly. No complaints whatsoever. Highly recommended.

I had such a wonderful experience on the twilight Trastevere food tour last night. The food, wine, people and itinerary were all great.

Elise, our host, is such a kind soul who made sure everyone was comfortable and happy. Her stories were sincere and told from the viewpoint of a true local to the area. She made the tour special.

I highly recommend this tour on your vacation! It was probably my top activity.

I have visited Trastevere previously during the day and was curious about the food and night life. The streets were crowded and most of the food was street food that we ate on the sidewalks( standing). The lines into every establishment were deep. Trastevere is definitely for a younger group. I think with the wonderful neighborhoods and restaurants that Rome has to offer... i would not do this tour again. Our tour guide was fabulous and added only positive to the experience.

We were in Rome on a family vacation with our 20 and 23 year old sons. All four of us absolutely loved this event. It was not only a food tour but a history and Travestere tour as well. Rush was so knowledgeable and funny and apparently knows everyone in Travestere! And of course the food and restaurants and proprietors were the best! Highly recommend!

What great fun! We enjoyed both the food and learning more of the history of the food of the Trastevere area of Rome. The guide, Luca, was fantastic - knowledgeable and witty. The food was diverse and the sampling portions were just right. The fried artichoke was unbelievable. Enjoy!
