The meeting point of the Twilight Trastevere Food Tour is on "Isola Tiberina” or Tiber Island, in English. Your guide will meet you right in the center of the square by the San Bartolomeo church, next to a tall pointy monument.

This was a wonderful tour and my husband and I couldn't have asked for a better tour guide. RISH was amazing!!! Friendly, lively and gave sufficient info and visitor's tips. We wished we did this tour earlier in our trip as opposed to at the end. Food and drink was amazing. Good value.

Martina was our tour guide for this excursion. She was excellent! She was prompt and arrived on time in the exact location where she said we were to meet. She was energetic, positive, warm and welcoming. She was happy to introduce us to the area and offered us the chance to try many local cuisines and wines. She answered our questions, and really worked to make sure everyone's food allergies were addressed. Our group was particularly challenging since there 6 of us in total and 5 people didn't eat cheese, which is a staple in Italian food, so she had a big challenge in addressing that food restriction and did a fantastic job. She spoke very good English and we had a great time with her.

Great food tour with Emiliano who is undoubtedly the best tour guide in world history. The fried artichoke was an unexpected delight. Besides the history and fantastic food after a tour with Emiliano you will be enlightened with relationship advice, proper al dente pasta, self deprecating humor, the pros and cons of owning an e bike and for god’s sake don’t order gelato if it’s puffy and round in the container! Low quality! A tour with Emiliano is more educational than 5 credits at any American institution of higher learning.

Fantastic guide and food stops along the way. Very interactive guide that was local but spoke English very well. The whole tour group was great and was a really good experience to capture some local food stops most tourists don’t visit.

I couldn’t fault the experience and not only was there plenty of food and wine but we learnt a lot about the history of the food we were eating and tips for the rest of our trip in Rome. Our guide Rish definitely made this tour with his bubbly personality and love of Trastevere and was so knowledgeable. He answered any questions we had and we made friends with other couples from many other different countries. We saw parts of Trastevere we wouldn’t have gone to and tried foods that were delicious that we wouldn’t have picked ourselves when choosing from a menu if we hadn’t have gone on this tour. I would definitely do this again and would recommend it to anyone I know !! Couldn’t fault this tour at all and was an incredible first night in Rome!!
