Great way to see Rome. Many of the roads have bike paths made it a great way to get around. We had 10 people and found this a great and economical way to tour the city.

What a day we had riding the e-bikes around Rome.
The guy at the rental place was extremely helpful with instructions and tips for where to go.
Once we got the hang of of bikes and the city streets we were off, riding through the traffic and really embracing the city.
Much better than doing an organised bike tour as we could set our own pace and agenda, referencing google when we needed help or historical information.
Would highly recommend.

Had a good time riding around the city. Got a little dicey on the busy roads but was better on the smaller streets. They set us up with a maps program that took us to several important locations tha man who gave us the bikes was nice and helpful. Next time I would do the electric bikes instead.

Freedom to roam Rome. Was great fun exploring Rome by bike. Adults enjoyed just as much as kids. Our first experience on electric bikes ? would definitely do it again.

On arrival at the Lungotevere Bike Point there was no staff present for the check-in.
I should apparently understand that the bike that stood ready was for me. Finally the non-informed barman of the tennisclub checked me in. Bike was ok, so was helmet and lock. When coming back there was again nobody of the staff. Discussion with the barman about the fee as I had already paid a deposit. Not to be recommended.

- Decent bike quality(bit aged, but worked) and provided helmets if wanted. Did provide a bike lock to help so we could still see things that we wanted to and not just be riding around. (is best to ask police if you see them where they recommend to lock up bike around major sites)
- We rented from 10am to 6pm(1800), but the bikes did not have the required lights for sundown. Make sure to ask for them when renting.
- Note the location of the rental shop as it likely will require a taxi to get there unless staying up in that area. IMPORTANT - Mark on your map/GPS how to get river-side as it is MUCH better for the return instead of carrying the bikes down like 30 steps. (NOTE: this is co-loacted with a pickle ball/tennis type club, look for those signs and a gate to get down)

Our cycle along the Appian way was one of the highlights of our holiday.
The staff at Bicycl-e are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.
The bikes are in excellent condition and we had no problems at all even though it had been a few years since we had ridden.
Plus we were in the beautiful countryside surrounding Rome - what more could you ask for?

I was looking for a fun way to tour Rome with my two bambinos as by foot they get super tired and moany, I found this bike hire online and I can honestly say it was the best place to hire a bike. The location was amazing as when we set off it was by the river and we road in peace with no traffic just beautiful scenery for around 20 minutes before we took the bikes up to the streets. We had them for a full 8 hours and we rode through the beautiful streets of Rome, we found some really stunning hidden shops of Rome, stopped of at trevi founting and ate at some tasty Gelato spots of course ? we had so much fun together, what an amazing experience my children will forever remember! The gentleman who sorted our bikes was most welcoming and helpful, he arranged our bikes so they were all suitable for each of us. And the ebikes were incredibly easy to ride, they made our journey so much more simple and enjoyable especially in the heat! Its around 32° - 38° out here right now! I Would highly recommend this place.
