Tour description says 6 people group in one place, and 15 people in another, which was the case. Still small enough to enjoy, and better than other larger groups we saw. I do wish we would have seen the Sistine Chapel first before all the halls of the Vatican museum, but still amazing. Be prepared for some restoration in progress- as that was the case at St. Peter’s and other churches we went in, which of course is necessary and understandable.

The experience was fine, but limited boards to explain the history so would suggest signing up for a tour guide when going around. Would have made the experience better.

Massimo was so knowledgeable that he made our tour of the Vatican an absolutely delightful and educational experience. Using his IPad as an orientation tool, he prepared us for what we were going to see, especially in the Sistine Chapel. Thank you for your expertise, sir.

Our tour couldn’t have been anymore private. Just 4 people on it . Vivid was amazing as she took us to places that most people would not have been able to get to. The entire Vatican complex is huge . The Sistine Chapel was worth the price of admission. St Peter’s church gets bigger at every turn.

The Vatican museum, Sistine Chapel and St Peters Basilica are breath-taking but the queues and crowds are something else. We booked the small group tour and it was the smartest decision of the day. Crowds were intense and bigger groups had a lot of trouble getting near their guides, or keeping together. Our guide, Chiara, was very knowledgeable and our small group ensured we were able to easily stay together while she expertly steered us around. The skip the line was essential, queues were up to three hours long but we were able to bypass them and go straight into the museum, then later go directly into St Peters unlike non tour groups who had to exit and join another long queue.
We could not recommend enough the value of having the guide and the small group option, it turned what could have been an ordeal into a great day.

Thi skip the line tour is a must....if not, you'll be in a line for 3-4 hours! Our experience of the Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter was overwhelming, just so much to take in, incredible. Our guide was so very knowledgeable and personable. .......we learned and covered so much in 3 hours, amazing. St. Peter's will take your breath away.
