Rosella was a fantastic tour guide who shared her extensive knowledge like a master storyteller. Even though I’m not much of a history buff I was captivated for the entire 3.5 hours. My teen boys enjoyed it also. Highly recommend. 10/10

Gigi was our tour guide and he was so knowledgeable, funny, entertaining and really engaged with the whole group bringing everyone into conversation.

Excellent guide, Andreas, kept us moving through the entrance process and on to the galleries. He has been a guide for 30+ years and guides the Vatican 2x daily. He really knows the history and the real highlights. The Vatican museums are so expansive and stunning that it would be very easy to get overwhelmed and bogged down trying to explore on your own. He made sure we got the best vantage points and shared unusual and interesting facts throughout the experience.
He was great about giving opportunities to slow our pace when needed, to keep moving to stay ahead of larger crowds, and a strategic rest stop prior to the Sistine Chapel. We received a gorgeous color handout of the Chapel and he gave us full explanations prior since he would not be permitted to guide inside.
Pro Tip: Vatican staff are militant about keeping crowds controlled in Sistine and with good reason. Proceed to the back section behind the wooden partition where the guides wait. There are stone benches that line the perimeter walls where you can sit. From this vantage point, you can see the entire ceiling images right side up, in the order they were originally painted.
Our later start time of 1:30 pm got us to the Basilica toward evening and the dome access was closed. Not a loss for us, but some in our group were disappointed by that. So be aware if you book the afternoon. Also taxis are difficult to come by around 5 pm and the less scrupulous drivers will tell you they charge a set price which is higher than a metered ride. Watch out for that as well. Not a fault of the tour or the guide, but of the after experience.

This was a very informative and impressive tour to see all of the art and sculptures that you see on TV and read about in person. Our guide Paola F. Was great and answered any questions that were asked. I definitely recommend this tour.

Amazing!!! Our tour guide Sabrina was incredible. Her narratives were interesting and engaging and she was incredibly knowledgeable. The Vatican is very crowded but she was terrific at keeping us together and informing/maneuvering the group so we had the best opportunity to appreciate everything. I have been on a Vatican tour once before but this was much more interesting.

My family (adult kids) and I truly enjoyed our tour of the Vatican. Certainly a special place to visit. Our guide, Ettore, was exceptional ! This is the second time he has been our guide. Last time was on a trip in Oct 2017 and he was the best guide back then. So we were very happy to see him again and knew this would make our Vatican tour great! He did not disappoint ! Very informative, kept the information shared interesting and with some humor mixed in as well !! highly recommend this tour and Ettore!

A wonderful afternoon tour. The guide was very knowledgeable and well spoken . We learned so much about the beautiful art in the Vatican museums and St Peter’s basilica. Of course our time in the Sistine Chaoel was unforgettable. Our guide prepared us for the Sistine so we would know what we were looking at . A fantastic experience.

The tour was great but the experience prior to the tour was horrible. When I booked the tour I clearly stated I need handicap access and when we arrived the team knew nothing of this request. My wife had to take an alternative route and drop off the tour half way along with my son. I want a full refund for them two.
