Highly recommended, 14 Nov 2023 - an excellent way to see loads and then decide what we wanted to go back and explore at a later date, the 3 hours flew past as it was so much fun and we felt so safe. My son and I booked this tour and were lucky enough to be the only ones on it so we had a private tour of Ancient Rome and the Jewish Quarter (our choice) and our guide, ARVIN, was EXCELLENT - I don't think we could've asked for a friendlier or more knowledgeable guide if we tried, he was INCREDIBLE. After a few mins learning how to use the Segway we saw The Colosseum, the Roman Forum, the Bocca della Verita (Mouth of Truth), Capitol Hill and so many other breathtaking sites and monuments. If you are visiting Rome, try to do this early on in your trip as it is a great way to familiarise yourself with different areas.

Great way to see Rome, safe and great fun out guide was brilliant, very knowledgeable. took us through the Segway training before we set off and even through we had done a Vespa tour the day before he took us to a bunch of different places.

I have done many Segway tours in th US and the Rome tour was amazing
Marco used a Virtual Reality headset to help imagine the beauty of ancient Rome. His commentary was fun and educational. We loved it!

We had a great morning despite the rain going around past of Rome .Alvin our guide was very knowledgeable and was able to tell us everything about the history .
He’s also an Opera singer and gave us a short rendition ?
We would recommend Fat Tires for a Segway ride - great pre ride training too

We LOVED this tour with Marco! We are frequent Segway users when we travel and try to book a tour on our first day to get the lay of the land… this tour did far more. Marco showed us ruins and sites in Rome and nailed the explanation of the layers of history unfolding in front of us. The easily understood explanations set us up for the rest of our visit in Rome! We SCORED with this one! Bravo Marco! Ciao

Guide from fat tire was amazing and I couldn’t recommend him more! He was so accommodating, friendly and patient to guide my wife on the Segway. Throughout the tour, he professionally took care of her ensuring her safety as well as all of us in the group. The VR used enhanced our experience to see the city for what it was in those days. Without it, it was hard to imagine the splendour of the Roman forums and colosseums from the ruins they now are.

This is the second time i have done a Segway tour in Rome. The guide was a nice person, but he talked far too much and did not really set any scenes on the tour early on and events he was going to cover. there was little time for photos in locations and a lot of detail, but this could have been given better in my opinion. He was a lovely person, but i was a little disappointed and felt the tour was a little disjointed. Thanks to the team though for good comms, as the tour was re-arranged from an afternoon session, so communication on this was good and a few options of other tours were made viable options which was great from the team to facilitate this. Thank you.
