This walking tour combines your must-do Rome experiences into one full day. Take to the streets of Rome for a walking tour of the historic center with your guide. Soak up the atmosphere in Piazza Navona, as your guide unravels the story of Bernini's fountain

This nearly 2,000-year-old building has the largest un-reinforced concrete dome in the world. Hear how it was built and why it has inspired so many other buildings, from St. Peter’s Basilica to the U.S. Capitol Building.
3. Trevi Fountain
Stroll through streets made famous by films like “Roman Holiday”, stopping at the Trevi Fountain.
4. Piazza Venezia
The guided walk of the historic city center takes you to see some of Rome's most impressive public sights.
5. Largo Corrado Ricci
Take a one-hour break for lunch (not included in price) with recommendations from your guide.
6. Colosseum
Afterwards, follow your guide to the Colosseum and head past the crowds to enjoy a guided tour in small groups. You won't go inside the Roman Forum, opting instead for a special overlook from where you can see it all without the crowds.

8. Vatican Museums
Our specially-curated Vatican tour highlights the best works including the Gallery of the Candelabra and the Gallery of Tapestries among others.
9. Sphere within a Sphere
Inside the peaceful, Pinecone Courtyard you'll pass a spectacular bronze globe. It was designed for the Vatican by well-known Italian artist Arnaldo Pomodoro and copies of it can now be found all over the world, including Dublin, Tel Aviv and New York City.
10. Sistine Chapel
The day ends with the highlight of your tour, which is, of course, the Sistine Chapel with its incredible frescoes painted by Michelangelo.

• The full names of all participants must be provided at the time of booking and must match the names on the ID/Passport. Name changes are not permitted.
• Each traveler must present a valid passport or ID document that matches the name provided at the time of booking for successful entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
• The Colosseum is subject to occasional closures. If modifications are needed and time permits, we will reach out to you prior to your tour. For last-minute closures, modifications may be communicated at the tour start time.
• Please note that this is a walking tour with a quick bus transfer from Central Rome to the Vatican.
• This is a walking tour. Guests should be able to walk at a moderate pace without difficulty.
• Due to the religious nature of the Vatican Museums, all individuals regardless of gender must cover their shoulders and knees. You can bring extra covering (scarves, etc) to put on just before entering the Vatican.
• The tour meeting time is 15 minutes prior to the start time and prompt arrival is essential. Late arrival will result in entry refusal and loss of tour cost.

We are very happy with the tour. Highly recommended. The tour guide is very knowledgeable and thorough on giving us details to every places we visited. The only draw back is we lost track of her (tour guide) when we exited the Sistine Chapel which is the final leg of the tour and unfortunately we’re not able to return the hearing audio. We have no intention of keeping the units but it’s pretty much appreciated if you can provide information/steps on how to return the units. Thank you

The guide was fabulous-Paulo-we learned so much and saw both the coliseum and Vatican in-depth. We never could have done this on our own. This is a must tour-walking is the best way to go although we did bus to the Vatican. One of the best I have been on. Paolo is extremely intelligent and knowledgeable. We loved it!

Amazing guide, very interesting tour and we saw a lot of Rome. Pity about the weather but our guide was great. There was quite a lot of walking so may not appeal to all.

If I could give 0 stars I would. We we sent to the meeting place where we stood under the sign of the picture sent to us two days before. We wanted with 2 other couples for 45 minutes and our guide never showed up. All parties called customer service we were all told the guide couldn’t find us and we could meet up with them. Viatior gave us four different meet up locations and no one ever showed up!!! We had one day in Rome and they had our tickets for EVERYTHING!!!! The most unorganized mess I’ve ever seen. Our day was ruined because of viator!!! They didn’t even try to help!
