Archeologist Paolah, with The Roman Guy, was an amazing tour guide! She brought together a huge experience in such a small amount of time for the amount of sites we had to see! She was knowledgeable, full or humor and sarcasm, full of life, and very pleasant to be around! For a tour where we toured 8-10 different places within a 7 hour period, Paolah made it exciting and full of fun! I will not forget her flag since we were on a constant lookout for it! From beginning to end, she tended to all the questions and gave us the full experience, ensuring that we were given the best treatment! Paolah, we wish you the best with your upcoming marriage! We toured with our guide, Monica. She was very friendly, very professional, and a great leader. She kept recounting us to make sure we left no one behind on the trip and made sure to make everyone feel comfortable with their physical ability. Not only did we see the Vatican and the Colosseum, but she took us through so much more on our walk around Rome. Including, the Piazza Navona, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, and more. I tried to upload all of my photos but am on a train and don’t have great WiFi, but please trust the views were beautiful!! We got so much out of this tour. I would highly recommend. We met friends along the way and exchanged numbers and shared photos with. The only part that’s stressful is finding the group in beginning because the meet point only has an address and not a specific area of the building. We met across the st from the Vatican museum on steps outside. The Roman Guy staff was wearing red tshirts that also said “The Tour Guy”. I would recommend getting there 15 minutes early to give yourself time to find them. We just happened upon them fairly easily with luck, although we had no idea where to go. Overall definitely got our money’s worth and learned so much!

We were a group of 12, which was the perfect size to be able to absorb all the information and history our tour guide Daniel(a) gave us. Daniel(a) was amazing and such a wealth of knowledge. There is a lot of walking involved, mostly flat ground but some incline which can be hard on people with knee/back issues. Daniel(a) stopped at appropriate times and allowed us to rest here and there. I highly recommend this tour and if you can get Daniel, it will make the tour even that more enjoyable.

Just wish we could have seen the basilica. Was told closed because it was Wednesday but other people in our group were allow in to see.
