OMG!!! The tour was amazing! Our tour guide, Alessandro was absolutely awesome! We really appreciated how knowledgeable he was of his history. It was all so enlightening. Meeting up with the tour was easy. We got in before the crowds and got to see a lot before being sandwiched in by everyone. We would truly recommend!

I have mixed emotions about my time with Giovanni on our early morning Vatican Tour on Wednesday May 29th. He had a heavy accent and in a crowd I had a very difficult time hearing and understanding him. Giovanni really didn't give us much in the way of important historical information and rushed us through most of the galleries and halls. Because it was Wednesday St. Peters was closed. It would have been nice to have known about that when booking since we could have chosen another day. We did not get a tour of the church. I spent almost $600 for this tour and out of a possible 5, I would rate it a 2. Giovanni was a very nice man but not the quality of guide I expected for the price of a tour.

Our tour guide Barbara was absolutely fantastic! She explained so many details to us. Barbara customized her presentation to our interests and delivered an amazing experience. I highly recommend the early morning tour where you find yourself alone or with only a few others in the most popular rooms of Vatican City.
