The small group tour of the Vatican and Sistine Chapel was amazing! Our tour guide, Giovanni, was excellent and had been giving tours of the Vatican for over 30 years. I'd highly recommend this small group tour and try to get Giovanni! Also, go early in the morning so you can beat the lines and crowds.

Claudia was great on our tour. She was very knowledgeable, connected very well with all our group, including my wife and I and my kids and kept the group moving forward well. Also took pictures of our whole family at the right times. Really enjoyed the tour!!

Do this tour! Our tour guide was incredible. Francesca showed us all that we needed to know before we went inside (separate skip the long line entrance, thank you.
Wow the regular line was so long so early and other groups were huge) the Vatican museums, the Sistine chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica. She saved hours worth of research and she provided valuable insights at every step, even a “study this and find the difference” of a caste and comparing to the actual sculpture.
We received a device with a new individual ear bud so that we could hear her as we kept our eyes on all the marvels. As religious, she even interpreted with staff for us to get our rosaries blessed, in St Peter’s Basilica!

I would give this experience a 10 if I could. I attended a Catholic School and still work with religious organizations as an adult, I only dreamed of seeing this place. Our guide, Alejandro, was outstanding. His passion for the Vatican and its works of art made the experience even more enjoyable. We thoroughly enjoyed the small group setting and Alejandro’s knowledge of the art was incredible. The only shortfall was the time - we could have spent several more hours there! I guess we will have to come back.

Our guide (Bruno) was incredibly knowledgeable! A 5 star guide! The whole experience blew us away. It was just our party of 4 with him. My 80 year old mom uses a cane and is somewhat hard of hearing (uses hearing aides). Bruno obtained special headphones for her, slowed his pace, and saved her steps by coordinating use of elevators whenever possible. Being in such a small group enabled us to ask questions, etc. Absolutely worth every penny to go early and have a private guide. A lifetime dream come true for my mom!
