Tour time got changed a couple of days before which is not ideal if you have other bookings. When booked it said it was 2.5hrs only ended up being 2hr. Felt very rushed. Guide spoke very fast and was difficult to understand. It was very busy, she didn’t wait for everyone to catch up before explaining what she was looking at. Therefore when you eventually got there she was on to the next thing.

Giana was wonderful! Happy, informative, and interactive. The tours are great and full of information, and walking, you'll be tired and ready to go by the end. You certainly get your money's worth. Compared to other tours, I was grateful to have Giana, who is such an energetic soul!

The Collesium is a must-see in Rome, and having a knowledgeable guide is also important. Our guide, Claudia, was very informative and entertaining as we walked the ancient Rome gardens and arena floor. I can highly recommend this tour!

Small group with knowledgeable guide who knew the history of the Colosseum. Beautiful weather just very busy and even though we were on an organised group tour we still had to queue

Tour guide was excellent and informative. Took us to all the great spots within the Colosseum and Roman Forum. Over 2 hours had passed and he still had more to cover. Couldn't recommend more!

We took the english tour with access to the arena.

Cons:
- Our guide will stop at the most random places to talk, like in front of the metal detectors, talking about areas we cannot see.

- He didn't stop talking, so we couldn't ask questions.

- he will repeat a lot his stories, and will show us a lot of small details like holes in a wall.

- he delayed a lot going to the arena, despite everyone in the tour asked to take us there before it started raining, then when it started raining he didn't want to go because we will get wet. he didn't took us to other areas, not even to the first floor

- he will not adapt the tour, despite in one moment of the tour everyone started sitting in the floor tired

Pro:
- he was very kind and passionate for his work
- he will be very respectful

Our tour guide Francesco went above and beyond for our tour group. He was so knowledgeable and most importantly passionate. With his historian background, he provided us great insight on the Roman Empire and important structures. He made sure to provide us with additional information before the tour concluded. He has been the best tour guide we’ve had in Italy!

Marcos was very knowledgeable and even threw in a few jokes here and there however, he spoke very fast and he was quite serious and hard to understand. Also, not Marcos’ fault but when I booked, I had the impression that VIP Arena Access meant it included the lower area under the stage. It does not. It just means the arena that anyone who buys a ticket has access to. Misleading and not very VIP. Otherwise the Colosseum is amazing and definitely a must tour but just buy tickets that are cheaper and let you skip the line. We could hear other tour guides along the way that were much livelier. Wouldn’t recommend this one.
