Your expert guides will bring the hustle and bustle of the ancient city back to life through incredible stories and facts - some of them as old as 2000 years!
*Please note we will either start with the Colosseum or the Roman Forum/Palatine Hill depending on the time of tickets we can purchase*
**Colosseum admission is free on the first Sunday of the month. Tours are discounted on these days.**

Very knowledgeable tour guide though he was late 45 minutes due to an auto accident. Thank goodness weather was just warm abd not hot. Tour began 345p instead of 3 and lasted more than 3 hrs. I enjoyed the tour more than I visited in early 1980s, except for the crowds.

We initially had Arena access for this tour, but was informed the day before that this was no longer the case. However, the tour was still amazing regardless of not having arena access. Felicity (Fi) was our tour guide and I cannot rave about her enough! She was absolutely amazing and so knowledgable. She also made sure to get everyone involved with the history and made it very memorable.

An excellent tour, full of interesting facts and details. The microphones worked very well and the tour guide was superb. Although extremely busy we hardly queued and he (Daniel I believe) kept us all together and well entertsined. A good 3 hours and well worth it!

Paula was incredibly knowledgeable and engaging! The only critique was we had to stop for other guest bathroom breaks on the tour which could take 15-20 minutes with lines. It made it unfair to those of us who went beforehand and took away from our time.

The visit to te colosseum was impressive. More impressive was the palatine hill and the forum. Our guide Paola was very informative and provided very good context along the tour.

We had a brilliant tour with guide Georgia of the Palatine hill, Forum and Colosseum. Really worthwhile doing a tour. Georgia was a lovely and very knowledgeable Italian host. The organisation and meet up went smoothly too. Thank you Carpe Diem.

Guide was knowledgeable and tour hit the main spots with some key history. The pace allowed for minimal steps and breaks to see and take pictures with restroom if needed. The views and points of interest highlighted and enjoyable tour.

Our tour guide was amazing and did a great job in the scorching heat! We learnt in depth about all the monuments and more. He was able to feed us information about Ancient Rome for 3 hours straight and answer all of our questions. It’s great to see someone so passionate and knowledgeable leading these tours, clearly he’s been doing it a long time! Very enjoyable and would recommend.
