Enjoy the green landscape from our state from our panoramic windows. See the famous romantic road from our comfortable seats.
Our first stop reaches the medieval castle Harburg. This is a very well-preserved baroque construction. Our guides give you an overview about the thirty-year-war and other historical events.
Rothenburg ob der Tauber is a charming and famous town in Bavaria, in the South of Germany.
The half-timbered houses, the Medieval Wall around the city and the Ploenlein are some of the attractions you'll find there.
This city is one of the most well-preserved medieval cities in Bavaria and full of inspiring spots.
There's plenty of free time at each stop, so for lunch and exploring at your own leisurely pace.
You'll find christmas ornaments in Rothenburg all the year through.

The tour was okay, average at best. Our tour guide had some ideas about things he needed to show us in Rothenburg that were impossible due to the sheer size of the group. He wanted us all to walk with him through the town as a huge group and try to listen to what he had to say, then he tried to herd us all through some random small restaurant to see some goblet that has historical significance, but the logistics of this were ridiculous. We finally outright asked him when we had to be back to the bus and left the group, and had many people follow our lead who were also fed-up. He needs to give people an overview out in the parking lot including time and location to return to, and let us go free. He also wanted all 70+ of us to eat at this certain place. This all made zero sense. We only got maybe 2 hours to walk around the town, but it was a whole-day drive back and forth. Cut out the castle stop maybe? Also, when we got back to the bus, it was hot as fire inside because the driver has not turned on the bus and let it cool down, so very uncomfortable start to the trip back. The town was okay, but we wouldn't do this tour again.

Absolutely beautiful place to visit. Old beauty and charm. Local people performances were amazing. We definitely will go back there again.

Harburg Castle was a pleasant surprise and broke up what would otherwise have been a long travel day. Rothenburg was pretty and packed but could still find some quieter parts of town to enjoy. Recommend taking something to eat & drink for the mornings journey.

We had been to Rothenburg and Bavaria years ago but never fully appreciated this region of Germany until the way our tour director Monika presented on Sunday May 11, 2024. Her knowledge of the history, geography and architecture brought the whole experience to life. She is a remarkable and gifted tour guide.

Would have been nice if there had been time allocated for a coffee at the first stop.
All in all a very enjoyable day out

The tour was good, the guide was not. He started by yelling in my face English English. No hello, no scanning my ticket. He thought he was funny, but I didn't like being told because I didn't learn to speak a German greeting I was an ugly tourist . Also went on about Arnold Schwarzenegger and how short he was, what does that have to do with Germany and the tour? Once he shut up, the tour was better.

The trip to Rothenburg was very scenic along the Romantic Road with lovely small towns along the way. Monica our guide provided excellent in depth information on the region and history. We visited Harburg Castle which was incredible and a
must do for lovers of history. Our final stop was the beautiful medieval city of Rothenburg. We had 3 hours there which was enough for a nice lunch and wander around to soak up the atmosphere. We arrived back into Munich as planned at 7pm. It was a well organised tour with staff professional and friendly. All in all a great experience

Bus was comfortable and driver was good but there were no electrical sockets to plug in phone. No water provided on the bus. The tour guide was ok and it’s a long 11 hour trip. Both Rothenburg and Harburg were well worth seeing and it was a good way to see the countryside as well. I highly recommend seeing St Jacob’s church in Rothenburg - a medieval gem. And try not to get lost in the Rothenburg museum like I did.
