Let’s start our wine and lunch experience !
Departure from Rome in the morning towards roman countryside. The cellar is located inside the medieval “Borgo” village.
We will meet our somellier guide and take a brief walk in a private cellar and learn all the secrets of wine processing. We move to the restaurant for taste an Italian pre-dinner with a selection of regional cheese and cut meat and Roman-style dishes. Each course is paired with a fine regional wine selected by the chef and guide to enhance the flavors of both the food and wine.

Fabulous time! Transportation to the cantina was easy. Christian was great a sommelier and allowed time for questions and overall discussion of the wines (and pairing with foods). Food was good! Highly recommend and very relaxing. ☺️

Beautiful unique winery. The guide was very interesting and knowledgeable. The wine and food were great. It was refreshing to take a trip out of the city of Rome for an afternoon. My only suggestion is to update the trip time information. The excursion time stated a three hour tour but it was four and a half hours.

This trip was so fun. The hour ride there was easy, and wine tour guide was absolutely fantastic. He was very thorough in his explanations and helped all of understand each of the wines we were tasting and how they interactee with our food courses! And of course the winery itself was beautiful and we got some really cool pictures!

We had a fantastic time! It was informative, fun, delicious and beautiful! The perfect ratio of learning and drinking wine. The lunch was excellent, wine pours were large. Company was superb & our host was so kind! Perfect half day event.

The was a lovely day visiting the countryside of Rome. Our driver was friendly and safely delivered to the winery. Our sommolier guide was knowledgeable about the property, wine making and wines. The wines and food pairings were wonderful.

As per title, a beautiful winery and excellent food BUT very mediocre wine. A sparkling wine with absolutely no bubbles (???) and a very non-descript 7 Euro a bottle Syrah in the land of Italian wines (?). Do go for the experience but not the wine!

The presentation provided by the guild showed his knowledge and passion for the product. His provision of how the wine is stored, paired with food, and amount of time to let it breathe allowing greater enjoyment when consumed, really enhanced my ability to properly taste the wine as it was meant to be enjoyed. I would absolutely recommend this tour for others to enjoy.

The wine and food were great! The wine maker gave us the tour and was very informative. The trip to and from was just a van ride. No commentary of what we were passing at all.

Very educational and good food. The sommelier was great and provided us with an education of the wine during the tasting. But no one gave us information in the food. It would have been nice to have each dish introduced. Also surprisingly they did not try to sell us wine. It was nice though to have a more relaxing tour.
