Incase the weather does not permit for the tour to take place, you can reschedule for another day. Should you need a pick up/drop off, there will be an extra cost of R250.00.

The cruise ship was nice and also the way the things were explained it was understandable and nice.
My kids were happy and the place is very smart and beautiful.

The tour package includes hotel pickup and tickets. It works out well but it feels a bit expensive as the main tour on the island is organized by the museum anyway, so the additional services you get from this tour is the tickets and pickup service.

Ivan, our driver was very nice. The tour is pretty much conducted by the Robben Island team. This is a hotel pick and drop service.
However, Robben Island tour is well packed in 2 hrs. 1 hour will be inside a bus with a guide and the next hour is a tour inside the prison with a former prisoner, which was a great experience.

An amazing historical experience.
The place has very historical value for the fact that a great man, Nelson Mandela, was imprisoned here for 18 years of his life simply for fighting against the injustices given by the apartheid government than.
The tour begins with a presentation by an ex prisoner who describes the harsh life in this prison and the maltreatment given to prisoners who were just political activists.
Worth a visit !

Learnings, the guy who took us through had so much to tell that we have not heard initially. Transport =booking was seamless,, less delays of the initial career at the station.

The queue to boarding the ship was very long but the front desk ladies managed it very well. The tour guide Thabo is very knowledgeable and how he narrated the history of Robben Island was very insightful and heartbreaking at the same time. I will definitely visit again...
