Our Reykjavik walking tour is your introduction to Reykjavik. It will help you get your bearings and make the most of your stay in Iceland. We recommend it as your first stop. You'll be shown where the Vikings first settled and how Reykjavik developed into the country’s capital.

Our family-friendly tour brings the history of Iceland to life with exciting stories and Icelandic mythology. We’ll visit all of the famous landmarks in the city center, such as Harpa Concert Hall, Reykjavik Harbour, Hallgrímskirkja Church (we’ll teach you how to pronounce that), Reykjavik Pond and the Parliament building.

But, we’ll also share hidden, local spots with you like a visit to an Elf stone; things you’d miss if you didn’t know what to look for. We want you to feel the unique, friendly atmosphere of our quirky little city, not just to see the most popular tourist attractions.

We will also point out our favorite places to eat, drink and visit in Reykjavik so your time here is well spent.

Really worthwhile. Esther E was a natural, informed and engaging tour guide and the wander around the city was fact filled and entertaining. It gives you a really good intro to the area and ticks off the major landmarks. Can recommend!

Aidn was our tour guide and he brought to life much of the history he shared with his 'one man re enactments' and we loved his singing at the end while we stood outside the Church. This was a great way to learn more about Reykjavik and it's people while viewing the city. Would definitely recommend 👍

Absolutely fantastic tour, Einar was an extremely knowledgeable and engaging guide. He also had a lot of personal experience in the city of Reykjavik. His family has been in the country for many generations and his families part in Icelandic history is fascinating. We booked the tour last minute and it was EXACTLY what we needed to see tucked away interesting sights in Reykjavík. I cannot recommend this tour enough, if you can request Einar, I highly suggest that as well as his personal connection to the city is evident and makes for a wonderful addition to the tour.

Nice walking route. Took his time to explain everything. And also took us inside every so often to warm up.

They insisted on holding this walking tour in pouring rain, freezing, and windy weather. Refund rejected. Buyer beware

The guide was terrible. He sang songs and covered little of Reykjavík. Learned nothing. The tour was not worth it.

Waited for an hour in the cold and the tour guide never showed up. Called the viator and was told that something came up and the guide could not make it. It would have been nice if we get a call or email that the tour is cancelled rather than waiting in the cold. It's a very terrible experience.
