Leaving from the Old Harbour in Reykjavík, this is the ultimate puffin adventure tour.
This tour is operated in our custom made RIB boats. They are specially designed to get you as close as possible to the islands and when possible we can switch them completely off to give the birds (and you) some peace and quiet to enjoy nature. During the tour your guide and captain will tell you interesting facts and tales about the puffins and the surroundings.
Our RIBs are also the fastest boats in the harbour, meaning that on a short tour you will spend the majority of you time with the birds.

This was a great tour and our guide was excellent.
Unfortunately, we went at the end of the season and most of the puffins had migrated but our guide found as many as he could for us to see

From the warm suits and complete safety briefing to the knowledgeable marine biologist to guide us, the boat trip to see the puffins was well worth it. The tour company even has binoculars to borrow. Rodrigo was a wonderful, informative guide and we saw dozens of puffins - and the season ends tomorrow- so well worth it!

We had perfect weather (almost too hot with the waterproof suits on) and smooth seas...it was a lovely trip out to see Puffins, who were quite active, and other seabirds. Informative and friendly guide - everything was as expected (or better!).
We also did the Classic Whale Watching tour the next morning and had a great time! Glad we were on the bigger boat for the longer whale watching tour

The puffins premium tour was a very nice experience that we recommend.
The explanations of the biologist are very interesting to understand the way of life of the birds.
Whale Safari gave us some very nice photos of the outing.

Amazing experience! Knowledge naturalist guide and a fast but safe ride in a RIB boat. We saw so many adorable puffins! They loan out binoculars if you don't have your own.

Great way to see lots of puffins on land, on water and in the air. You need a telephoto lens to take decent photos of the puffins. They provided us binoculars if we needed it. The guide was very knowledable. The ride was quick.

Staff at check in were very polite and helpful with tips on how the day would go and what gear you would need.
It was a very short ride out of the harbour to the first island where we could see birds outside their nesting burrows. Then it was over to an island with greater numbers of puffins where we watched them floating on the water and flying about. Guide had useful information, happy to answer any questions and they took pics to email out. Tour ended with a quick spin of the boat once back near the harbour.
Disappointing that puffin watching was only about 30 mins. Would have preferred more puffin watching & no boat spin.
