Enjoy the Sami experience of reindeer sledding, where you'll enjoy a long sleigh ride (30 mins) pulled by a wild reindeer. Then feed a herd of 300 reindeer at the camp, and gather inside a traditional Sami tent for a hot meal and to listen to stories about Sami culture around the campfire. A Sami guide will also perform a joik, traditional folk song, for you, before return transportation to Tromsø.

The contact information provided on the website is unreachable. I had booked a trip with consecutive activities and followed the recommended itinerary by the organization. However, there was a problem with the first activity which caused a delay in transportation back to my hotel. I simply wanted to contact the company to inform them about the situation, but unfortunately, I was unable to get in touch with them. When I arrived at the meeting point, I was five minutes late and couldn't find the bus. It seems they had already left, and when I reached out to them for a refund, they were only willing to offer 50% back, despite my explanation that it wasn't my fault and that I had no other options.

Well organized tour with clear instructions. The staff are friendly and accommodating, we really enjoyed the Sami culture storytelling session with the camp fire. The reindeer stew was delicious, would definitely recommend this experience!

Eventhough this trip is with a huge group the area is the huge it's not feeling very crowded. The Sami are very nice and friendly. The later explanation very informative. All in all the trip was really fun and worth that we done it.

Went with 2 young children, interesting learning about the Sami. Loved feeding the reindeer and sledding, all very relaxed and thevstaff couldn't do more to help. Warm buildings with fires and hot drinks cookies available at all time, a lovely warm lunch served around an inside fire. We loved it

Great experience. Feeding the reindeer was a lot of fun. They approach slowly and are gentle. The sled ride was great but cold. After the ride we warmed up with cookies and hot chocolate in one of the houses and then it was time for stew which was good and filling. We talked to one of the reindeer herders for a bit and learned a lot. Then it was time to gather in a house again and learn about Sami culture which was very informative and interesting. The ride to and from the location is scenic and not too long. We read that overalls would be provided but they were not so I should have worn an extra layer. We brought hand warmers which we used but our feet got very cold on the sled ride and walking around. There are fires in all the huts so you can go inside to warm up if you need to.

Getting to know Sami people. The reindeer soup was tasty and feeding them gave some nostalgia as we had some cows back at our home. .

We loved our visit to see the reindeer. Feeding them was the best. The ride and hearing about the Sami culture was also brilliant. Its great to hear how well cared for they are. Oh and how could I forget the soup we had for lunch, it tasted incredible. We would definitely visit again.

It was great to meet the reindeer and have a relaxing sleigh ride! Crew were friendly and helpful. Stew was delicious, would have been nice to have a piece of bread with it as the portions were small, not really enough to consider lunch. Cookies and hot drinks were plentiful though. We were not offered warm overalls as it states in the Viator description so do dress warmly. There were blankets on the sleighs. The best part for me was listening to a Sami woman talk about the Sami people and their experiences and listening to her sing. But no one told us anything about the reindeer sadly!
