What a wonderful memory. Kayaking through the canals of Venice. Tour guide was knowledgeable, attentive and helpful. Wish the trek would have lasted a bit longer, it was 1 hour 20minutes. Changing rooms, bathroom and storage available. Leave yourself enough time to find the place, it is tucked on an obscure alley.

I have gone on Real Venetian Kayak tours of Venice and the lagoon on two separate trips now — opting for the sunset tour of the canals both times — and I LOVE the experience. Being out on the water for the sunset feels like a special moment for taking it all in. Seeing Venice from the canals is a refreshing change from wandering the sometimes-crowded streets, and the kayak trips are a relaxing way to hear some tales about history and very literally see a different side of the city. The guides were helpful and charming on both trips, and it was great to be able to simply show up with some appropriate shoes and clothes for light activity, but have the rest of the equipment made available for the trip. Like I said, I am already a repeat customer, and I spect to be back again on future trips.

It's one thing to see Venice from the sidewalk maze it is, but it's another to see it from the water. Enjoy going through the "back alleys" of Venice as you kayak your way through the fantastic views instead of walking through them. It was a great experience and one I would recommend to anyone, especially kayakers like myself. I went on the night trip and it was beautiful kayaking through the city and hearing all of it's sounds and experiences around me.
Only downsides are that you become the sight as people will look at you while you're kayaking and the first leg of the route wasn't much to see. This is really a fault of the company running the route but speaks more to the nature of the activity and the restrictions on the route as you can't cross any main canals.
Otherwise, amazing trip. Glad I experienced Venice in a new way and would love to do it again.

My son (24) and I did the sunset kayak with Real Venetian and it was one of the best things we did during our four fun days in Venice. We were out with the guide for about 2.5-3 hours, zig-zagging all over the city. It was a great way to see and learn about the city. Our guide was very good.

We left our hotel an hour prior to the meeting time. We had directions, but couldn't find the location. We did not have Wi-Fi, so I couldn't call the people or track with my google maps. We stopped at multiple stores to ask for directions. We kept getting different directions from each place. Nobody heard of this company.

We loved this experience! Our tour guide was informative and kept us safe the entire time. We highly recommend this tour if you enjoy kayaking or just want to do something a little different than what is usual. We enjoyed the kayaking tour over the gondola ride we did as it was more engaging, we learned a lot, and it was just an overall fun activity. Definitely consider this activity if you're able to!

The team was top notch and made the exploration of the canals from a totally different perspective a memory hard to forget. It’s a must for anyone who wants to say “I lived Venezia how was intended ;)”

good pace, safe and a great way to see Venice from a different perspective. Kayaks were all in good repair, and the group was not to big. It was a great evening. Plenty of double or single kayak's available. The only wet I got was from my own paddle.
