The information and tasting were spot on, and we learned a ton about chocolate. My brother and I found the guide’s comedian routine rather tiring. Yes, we all need material, but the one-liners struck us as over the top.

Even though this tour had great reviews and it was raining, we had a better time than expected. They kept us dry and it didn’t dampen it at all. We learned all the steps to making chocolate. Our guide, Keileb, was fantastic! Sorry if I spelled it wrong. He was super funny and made it a fun experience. He was welcoming to all types: families, kids, even pirates! The chocolate, wildlife, and jokes made our day!

We had a wonderful experience! Angélica was a fantastic guide with so much knowledge. We enjoyed getting to be part of the chocolate process and tasting lots of chocolate. Patricia was great as well. We can’t recommend this enough to anyone!

Very nice experience for the whole family. Ate a lot of choclate sauce with ingredients added. You do not make a choclate bar in this tour. Got some cocoa beans to go home. We had a pretty big group but I saw the next group was very small. Thank you for the nice day

Keilor was an amazing tour guide!!! He was so funny and we learned so much. I loved the chocolate at the end. He was very patient and kind and allowed us to have as many chocolate tastings as possible. Highly recommend this chocolate tour, it was just so much fun!

We had a nice small group (about 10 people) and the guides were very informative, fun, and helpful. We got to experience the chocolate making process from beginning to end with plenty of tasting. Great value - definitely book it!

This was one of the highlights of our trip to Costa Rica.
The tour itself was really informative and you really come away being able to understand the process incomer in making chocolate to the point it makes you question the type of chocolate you eat in everyday life!

Obviously the best bit was the tasting.. but here you get to taste everything from the raw cocoa bean, to a roasted one, to a freshly ground one, to hot chocolate and then finally to the actual chocolate with a choice of toppings!

Would highly recommend- the only disappointment was the lack of chocolate products available to purchase at the end. When we went the shelves were empty. With this in mind, as we wanted to bring gifts back, I highly recommend CHOCOLATE FUSION in Arenal Town who have their own farm and who make their own chocolate ... it is a little pricey 3100 local currency for 50g but I suspect it'll be worth it!!
