Your half-day adventure begins with a morning, midday, or afternoon pickup from your Punta Cana hotel, when you board a vehicle to head to the nearby Quad Ranch. Upon arrival, you will receive a safety briefing and learn the controls of an ATV.
Once you feel confident, you can embark on an off-road journey through lush tropical forests and plantations. Stop to sample Dominican chocolate, coffee, and rum at a local farm before continuing on to the Taíno Ecological Park, where you'll have the chance to take a dip in the freshwater hot springs.
The tour culminates with a stop at Macao Beach, a stretch of sand surrounded by limestone cliffs, where you'll have time to relax and shop for souvenirs.
The duration of the tour will be around 3 to 4 hours depending on the the speed while driving the ATV. Time driving between visited locations and might depend on the flow of the group.
The return transfer occurs after returning to the offices where you took the quad.

Cool experience in scenic spot. Each stop was short but whole adventure was 3 hours. Charlie and Chris took care of us. ATVs less muddy than buggies, both fun. Good equipment and pretty safe. Not too extreme so good for all groups. Swimmings the end was refreshing.

Excellent communication right from booking to the end. We were late to the meeting point because our cab got lost, but we made it, and had a tour guide driver who was waiting for us! It was so appreciated. We adored our guide, I wish I could remember his name, there was a bit of a language barrier, but he stayed with us the whole time, and we felt safe having him right there! The tasting was a quick informational, got a try a few things, hot chocolate, green tea, coffee, and mamajauna, it’s was all delish, especially the chocolate and tea! They do want you to buy things, so keep that in mind, we did buy a few things, it was expensive, but they are locals and we felt it was worth supporting them. Next was the beach, which was beautiful, but it rained the whole time we were there, so probably didn’t get the full experience, hung out for a bit, took some pictures, posed for pictures for the professional photographer, whose photos are beautiful and so worth the cost at the end of the tour! Next we drove back past our starting point to the cave! Fun ride! Careful of the kids, animals, and the people trying to get money out of you. The cave was my favorite! It’s busy and you have to wait in line to jump, but it was worth it and they take your pictures! Very cool!
I definitely recommend Discovery Tours! Start to finish, was excellent! Great friendly guides, very fun! Definitely tip them!!

We left the hotel at 8:10 and arrived at our destination just 10 minutes later. The staff there were warm and friendly, and our tour guide, Charlie, took us on some fun rides through puddles. We stopped at Macau, where we could try some genuine Mama Juana and Coco Macau and smell all sorts of fresh condiments. Charlie safely guided us through the trail, and we eventually arrived at a natural spring where my children could jump in and have a great time. Overall, it was a fabulous experience, and Charlie was an excellent tour guide.

Charlie was amazing, the most perfect tour guide. The atv ride was amazing and took us through the city, and a tour about the culture. The freshwater cave was amazing and refreshing so beautiful. Definitely recommend!

Charlie was an amazing guide. He was energetic and funny and very helpful. We first stopped at a chocolate coffee shop where they showed us different types of coffee and other things. Then we drove to the beach and the drive was amazing and very fun. The beach was beautiful and the waves were perfect. After we drove to a cave where you can jump in the water and it was also really nice. The water wasn’t too cold and it felt nice. After that we drove back to our starting point where we looked at photos that they took of us along the way. Overall this was an amazing experience especially because of Charlie.
