Derly and Luis were awesome hosts and we had an amazing time on our entire excursion. It was more than we expected as we thought we would only have a short buggy ride but we visited 3 spots and it was not a rushed experience. The first stop was an amazing fresh water cave - highly recommend jumping in. There are life jackets for 2usd. The second stop was a place to learn more about local products for purchase. The third was Macao veach, which was beautiful. During stops one and two, there was food and drink available for purchase if you get hungry. There's also photos of you on the buggies for purchase. 10/10 experience.

We rode with derly and Luis. Our family included 2 kids, 10 &12, Hade a great time. Peaks were the cenote and the beach. No need to worry about accidents, they seem to have governed the speed of the vehicles so you can’t go too fast.

Multiple concerns-
Drive picked us up 20 minutes late and we were first stop. Life happens and someone communicated with us.
Arrived at beautiful facility for our tour.
We started tour at 9:23. We had a scheduled pick up of 7:30 am and didn’t actually get on the road until 9:23. Almost two hours!!
We drove just 10 short minutes then stop at bar to use bathroom, but drinks and walk to swimming cenote.
We then were hurried back to our buggies.
No sooner had we left our vehicle broke down. Issue you ask?? No gasoline
Yes, vehicles break, but no gas is human error.
We rode with a woman and her son back to company and got another buggy.
We then got to drive another 10 minutes and stopped again at a place to learn about local products. It was a good stop and no pressure to buy things.
Then another 10 minutes of driving to beach.
Where our guide wanted us to swim had sea weed and trash. Someone complained and told the guide NO! He was walking to where it was clean and we all followed.
This was a twenty minute stop.
Then back to buggies and we got another 10 minutes of driving.
In total we paid for about 40 minutes of drive time.
We arrived at our pick up location early as we were told 7:30.
So 7:20 am until 1 pm to spend 20 minutes on a beach and 40 minutes in our buggy.
Value for our time and money—-zero
If you’re booking a tour ask how long you’ll actually be in the vehicle and what time the tour actually starts and ends.
We started at 9:23 and got back about 11:50 am. This was not what we thought we were buying.
There was no apology for the very late start or mark up time. There was nothing for us breaking down and loosing 10 minutes of drive time (which given how short the drive time was it equaled 25% of our time driving lost.)
We think they might run better afternoon tours. When we came back our vehicles were put in a line and quickly fueled.
By the time we went to the bathroom and got on our buses to go back they were on their vehicles taking off.
Not sure what time they were picked up but they were driving by noon!

They were so unorganized. They told us the wrong place to be picked up. We spent more time waiting then we spent on the excursion. The excursion was nice and fun but just so unorganized. And then when you return all they talk about is leaving a review. They have you sitting there like waiting on you to do a review right then and there. Some people were tired of waiting that they literally caught an Uber back to their hotel. Just ridiculous

Alexis the tour guide was nice I’d highly recommend. The tour wasn’t what I expected but we still enjoyed ourselves. I wish there were more driving involved.

Pro's: The buggies are fun to ride and the countryside is beautiful. The guides are laid back, experienced, and fun. Con's: All the stops on the tour are layed out so that you interact with their friends/the vendors who are all pushing and haggling for you to buy what they are selling. The cave/cenote stop is not really swimmable. It is picture perfect, 25ft. deep and so many tourist at a time that it is not safe to even attempt, plus you are not there long enough. You are rushed through every stop. Prepare to be dirty! Wear old clothes you can throw away or wash easily. Bring along a bandana to cover your mouth and nose and sunglasses or goggles to protect your eyes.
