Appalling.
We rang ahead as my family were staying in London for Christmas and we’re told that it wouldn’t be busy so no need to book. Mistake number 1. We were also told that they could cater for my allergy as they had a gluten-free menu. Mistake number 2. We arrived and were told we had to wait 30 minutes. Not great but ok understand it was busy and safety first. Then more people started arriving which the doorman did not manage at all so the queue became a big group rather than managed. Another doorman arrived to shepherd but then people who had arrived wouldn’t move back causing a bad feeling all round. Two people who had popped out for a cigarette where not allowed back in and two others who needed to join friends who already had a table we’re not allowed to join the. We all stood outside for 35 minutes.
We were a family group with a teenage daughter so told we could only go downstairs. Again not great but understood. Only tables were outside which was cold. Went to order food, told we had to look at a tablet to find out about allergens in a way that was “dur, how do you not know that?”! Picked three simple items that said they were gluten-free and asked to order only to be told they weren’t safe when the tablet had said they were. So an hour and a quarter after we first arrived we had to leave to get dinner elsewhere.
Whole experience was appalling, doormen do not know what they are doing, complete lack of communication and poor leadership. Never will we go to this establishment again which they probably won’t give a fig about given its location in the heart of Covent Garden with plenty of tourist traffic but I will be sure to spread my message of frustration, disappointment and lack of customer service to all friends, family and work colleagues.

Great combination of history, beer tasting and scenic walking tour of the area. Highly recommend for those looking to find some lesser known pubs and expand their knowledge of the history of beer in England.

There were 6 of us on this Fat Tire tour. Nick was a great guide. He had lots of fun facts and stories about the pubs we were visiting and beer knowledge as well. I would definitely recommend this tour. We had one person who doesn’t drink beer and she even found one she liked! Fat Tire was great with keeping in touch before the tour and letting us know what to expect.

Daniel was an amazing tour guide. He had great stories and a lot of historical knowledgeable about the area and beer. He took us to great spots with great beer choices! Highly recommend

This was a great tour! All stops were amazing, we loved all the samples provided. The tour guide was very knowledgeable, we loved all the facts and stories he shared with us. He was flexible with the stops as well, he gave suggestions and asked for our preferences. 10 out of 10!! ?
