We had a fantastic tour of the Franschhoek and Stellenbosch regions with Marlene. The wines were really good across the board and our guide, Marlene, was top notch. I would do this tour again in a heartbeat!

Marlene was an incredible guide. She was knowledgeable of wines, politics in South Africa as well as the United States. She was smart and showed us the most amazing venues. If your can ask for her by name, you won’t regret it!

Amazing day, Cedric was a brilliant host who was extremely informative and insightful. We are not wine connoisseurs, and Cedric was great with explaining the intricate incredible wine process in a non patronising way. What I also really liked is he didn't provide the standard generic tour, he actually got to know us and are preferences then drew on his knowledge and contacts and hand picked vineyards (some lesser known but still incredible) which he knew we would really appreciate and enjoy. I highly recommend Luhambo Tours, this was a personal favourite and highlight of our trip to Cape Town. We were so impressed with Luhambo Tours we also booked the "Private Tour with Wine Expert to Cape of Good Hope & Constantia Wine Region" and we got the lovely Marlene, who was also outstanding, and we had an incredible day. Don't delay book with them today!

Had an excellent private tour with our guide Marlene. She picked us up on time in a wonderful and spacious vehicle. The drive out to Stellenbosch was educational as she went over some wine making details to enhance the tasting experience. We visited some excellent wineries and the location she chose for lunch had excellent views. At the last winery, she conducted the tasting herself, showing her depth of knowledge. I would do this again.

Me and my girlfriend booked this tour, since we had heard a lot about the great wines from South Africa. From the moment we booked until the moment Cedric dropped us off at our hotel, everything was perfect. In the days leading up to the tour Cedric communicated clearly, let us know what we should expect, asked us questions about what types of wines we liked and disliked, how experienced we were, if we were looking for something special, etc. He even sent us a message the evening before to remind us he would be picking us up in the morning. When the day of the tour arrived, he was there a few minutes early and greeted us in the lobby of our hotel. Immediately you felt his warmth and professionalism, which we thought was very important given that we were spending the day with him! And off we went! We went to a total of four wineries, and Cedric did everything to make sure we would be visiting wineries of our liking. We asked for a winery with sparkling wine, another with great red wine, another with great white wine and then one that would be beautiful - and we got them all! All the wineries were so different in their own way, the landscape so beautiful and Cedric very knowledgeable - not only about the wines and the wineries, but also about South Africa and other parts of Africa as well. The day flew by, and all of a sudden we had arrived back at the hotel.
We truly recommend this tour, and we believe it would not matter if it would be Cedric or someone from his team that would be hosting it. He cares a lot for his team, and even more for his guests, so we’re absolutely certain that everyone on his team is great. This is a tour where you get so much more than just wine or wineries. We loved every minute of it, and we will definitely be giving Cedric a shout if we’re back in Cape Town so that he could take us on another tour.

We went on a wine tour with Marlene today. She showt us realley beautifull wine estates with wunderfull wines. We are not new at the wine business but still we learnd a lot of Marlene.
They did there homework and askt for the tour wich wine tast we like. And then suprised us with beautifull choices.

This was a fantastic tour! As novice wine drinkers, it was a great blend of knowledge, unforgettable sights and great wines. Marlene our guide was amazing, she was knowledgeable and shared with us all of the different aspects of wine making. The vineyards were spectacular and having our own private tour allowed us the ability to go at our own pace. I highly recommend this tour as the privacy and great service made this experience top notch!
