1. Artemis Karamolegos Winery
Our wine tour begings from Karomolegos Winery,one of the oldest family producers of Santorini wine! You can visit the Winery and observe the entire winemaking process including the tanks, the fermentation barrels, the impressive aging cellars and the traditional presses. Wine tasting is held in the courtyard, with a specialized enologist who introduces each wine and informs visitors about the winemaking process and the technical characteristics.
2. Estate Argyros
An modern art winery,was etsablished in 1903, combines modern winemaking culture without forgetting tradition. Since the beginning, there has been a focus on both wine making and vine growing, through a deep understanding that great grapes are always a prerequisite for great wines. Estate Argyros works almost exclusively with old vines because only these vineyards can provide the depth, the definition and the concentration needed to produce the desired style of wine.
3. Pyrgos
One of the oldest villages, an aspect of view, back to the picturestic traditional villages of the past.The former islands capital with the small and magic paths gives you the opportunity to explore this amazing place until the top of Pyrgos where you can find the church of virgin mary build at 1660 and Kasteli old castle.
4. Venetsanos Winery
So many awards,such amazing and piqturisque views. Enjoy your wine tasting overlooking the breathtaking views of Calderas Cliffs while the sunset make your experience unique. Venetsanos Winery was built in 1947 by the Venetsanos family and became the first industrial winery on the island. Its most distinguishing feature is the structural design, which from its beginning essentially used gravity, facilitating energy efficiency, at a time when access to electricity and other energy sources was very limited.
