We had a fantastic day of wine tasting and lunch, enriched by Ricardo, our FABULOUS guide. Ricardo took us to a historic vineyard for a tour and wine tasting. We then visited the “Mothers House” for more wine tasting and education. He took us out to a delightful restaurant for lunch and then back to the “Mothers House” for more wine and conversation. Ricardo became instant friends with our group and we look forward to visiting with him on our next trip to Lisbon.

Such a great experience. We had a group of 6 and were were provided a great tour, extensive history great wines and a great lunch. Our guide was wonderful and very patient with the group. Great wine tasting tour.

Paulo was a fantastic guide. Attentive, knowledgeable and fun.
I opted for the lunch option and it was worth it to try authentic portugese food.
A must when visiting Portugal!

We really enjoyed our wine tour. Ricardo picked us up at our hotel and we were on our way but with a quick stop for coffee and bolos before the wine began. We opted for two wineries and a lunch. First was Jose Maria de Fonseca for two tastings and a tour of the property. Then off to a ‘mother’ for another 5 tastings hand picked by Ricardo. Finally we had lunch at a small seafood restaurant A Linete for whole sea bass that was grilled perfectly! Ricardo was knowledgeable and we were comfortable right away. Would recommend!

The driver was prompt (early) for pick up. He drove us to the first winery Jose Maria de Fonseca which was a wonderful tour (done by the winery staff). The second location was only a small location for tasting wine (disappointing) and the tasting session was done by the driver/guide. I had made a choice to go for a traditional Portuguese lunch instead of another winery tour (as I thought we would be touring 3 wineries). In hind-site, I would have preferred another winery tour! The lunch place was a family friend of the driver. He wanted our order while during the tasting tour, without us having access to a menu. He showed us internet pictures of fish that were available (not helpful). He also talked incessantly, and then wanted to sit with us for lunch. We had to ask him to sit elsewhere during our lunch. It was very awkward! He was knowledgeable about wines and the area, but was just a bit "much".

Paulo was amazing!! He was friendly, knowledgeable, and spoke good English. We really enjoyed our tour and wine tasting with him. He brought us to an authentic Portuguese restaurant and helped us order authentic dishes. We also went to some “less tourist-y” spots around Lisboa/the countryside which was really nice. Would recommend this tour (and Paulo) to anyone and everyone!

The driver followed the program. The program was average. The first winery was comprehensive with a tour and details about their wines. A nice stop. The second two stops were highly disappointing. No professional service or explanations or etc. just wine serviced by our driver. Certainly not worth the pricing.

What a fabulous day! We had a great time with Ricardo and Pedro who were both knowledgeable and entertaining. We learned so much about wine from grape to bottling. The tastings offered delicious wines and complementary nibbles. All our children are adults so it was interesting even for our son who doesn't like wine. He found the winemaking process fascinating. Quick easy ride from the heart of Lisbon. Very personable and enjoyable tour. Great time and lots of fun!

Our guide for the day was Rodrigo. We couldn't have asked for a more friendly and knowledgeable person. He picked us up from our hotel on time and pointed out many points of interest throughout the journey. He was unbelievably passionate on wine and it made our day. Nothing was too much trouble. Definitely recommended.
I would ask for him for certain.

A memorable packed day with an informative fun guide. Ideal for our adult group , our adult sons and their fiancés. Everything went exactly to plan , great locations , wine and very relaxing . A great day away from bustle of Lisbon .
