The landscape is incredible. The 10km route is a challenge accessible to all, and which shines with the view of the Douro River. On the other side, the century-old train passes and whistles, just like in the movies. We are in the Douro, in a fairy tale.
Then it's time for lunch, and contrasting with the countryside and rural context there is a room and a table designed in detail to welcome you. As is very characteristic of Quinta da Pacheca. Good taste and comfort for a meal chosen by you, on the spot, in the company of the best wines. After toasting, and to finish, there is still a guided tour of the Quinta. A journey into the past-present of the farm's wines.

The guide who took me to Quinta da Pacheca is an incredible person and surprised me because in addition to waiting for me to arrive, she knew that I didn't want to be in that big group and we went to taste the wines in the hotel's restaurant. The hello conversation was so wonderful that the next day I told a couple who had coffee with us to call her and they went to meet her too. The tour is unmissable and the guide, as I expected, was wonderful.

It was a great pleasure to meet Ana and enjoy so much of her experience at Quinta and D’ouro. We spent a fantastic and super pleasant day, as well as a fine and delicious lunch, with good conversation and a delicious menu.
Quinta da Pacheca is beautiful and the tour is spectacular.
Ana is extremely polite and kind, a sweet person.
I recommend!!

Absolutely excellent experience! Ana is the sweetest guide who is also a local from the Duoro valley area and knows a lot about the wineries and local traditions. We had a pleasant visit to the Pacheca winery, tasting, food, views- everything was amazing! Thank you Ana for this great time together!!!

We originally booked this tour. Ana contacted us to say that we could not get a lunch reservation on that day and would we consider another winery. We meet in Cumieire and did a hike through the vineyards. Ana asked about our fitness and tailored a hike to our level. We had a delicious lunch of local specialties and accompanying wine she chose ahead of time. We then had a great tasting at H.O. Winery. Cliff did a gave us a very fun and informative tour and tasting. Ana was very attentive, personable and kind. We will definitely do another tour with her when we return.

Ana took us on a beautiful hike around the vineyard which treated us to perfect views with the right amount of challenge. She was fun and personable, and knew so much about the area. The motivation of a lovely three course lunch paired with wine helped us to get through the 10k hike! We loved the tour and tasting at the winery as well. It was a true highlight of our trip to Portugal and a time we will never forget!
