Our six member three generational family took the trip to Stonehenge, Bath and Castle Combe with Oz. My expectations were very ridiculously high, but they were exceeded. Oz thoroughly captivated us with his vast knowledge of relevant English history. He is a superb storyteller, informative, friendly, accommodating and entertaining. Whatever questions we posed, he could answer with clarity. We could not have had a better teacher and driver. Because of his commentary before we arrived, we were ready to take in and appreciate the magic of Stonehenge, the complexity of Roman Bath and the quiet charm of Castle Combe. The ride was comfortable and relaxing. Time just flew by. Because of his knowledge and experience, we got the very most out of our day without feeling stressed, overwhelmed or exhausted. This was the sightseeing highlight of our trip. Should our family ever travel to England again, there is no question we would twist Oz’ arm to drive us wherever we wished to go and be our teacher and guide.

We took our 3 kids on the guided tour to Stonehenge, Bath, and the Cotswolds (ages 6-13), and were surprised by how much everyone loved it. We had Christian as our guide and he was not only knowledgeable, but he was kind, fun, and engaging with our kids (oh and van was very clean and comfortable). We would 100% recommend Tailored Tours to anyone considering a private tour to their destinations.

Christian was a wonderful tour guide! He picked our group up on time and was so accommodating-he had a booster seat ready for our 6 yr old, umbrellas for the rain, and helped us tweak our plans for the day as we went. He knows so so much about the history of the area and was great to point out little things here and there as we went. He showed us the most charming village in the cotswolds that big tour busses can’t get to. This really was a major highlight for us!

Christian was an amazing tour guide! We were picked up at our hotel right on time. The van was clean and comfortable. We arrived at Stonehenge just in time to beat the crowds. Stonehenge was amazing! I really loved it and the weather cooperated. If it’s raining the day you go wear shoes that are waterproof because they will get wet and possibly muddy walking around the site. Try a scone at Stonehenge. They were very good! Along the way Christian shared tidbits of information that was very interesting. He was so knowledgeable and polite. I wished we could’ve had him with us during the rest of our time in London! We learned a lot on this tour. He took us to our favorite restaurant (we requested to go there and he accommodated us) right outside of Bath, The Hare and Hound for lunch. Go there! You’ll love the food and the view! We also toured a bit in Bath and then went to the Cotswolds. It was a beautiful drive and the little villages were so fun to visit. Christian took us to a few out of the way places as well and we really liked that. There were plenty of bathroom breaks. It really was worth the money to have a private guide the whole day! We didn’t have to worry about driving or parking. If you want a stress free, relaxing day go on this tour!

We all agreed that the tour is the best tour we’ve been on. Christian was very knowledgable, courteous and accommodating. He even made a lunch reservation for us after we toured the Roman Baths. He was excellent. We couldn’t have asked for more.

My family and I did a day tour of Stonehenge, Bath and The Cotswolds with Oz. We had a great time!! Oz picked us up from our hotel and from the first moment was just awesome. Our first stop was Stonehenge, but we had made great time on the drive so Oz took us to Woodhenge prior, which was an unexpected treat for everyone. We then stopped at Stonehenge and it did not disappoint. Oz took us around Stonehenge relaying the history and theories surrounding it and it was fascinating. Our next stop was Bath. We did a tour of the Roman Baths which is a must-do. Then after lunch Oz toured us around the city relaying the history of it all. Our last stop was touring a bit of the Cotswolds and I can only say that visiting that area was like being transported to a different time. Just absolutely picturesque. The tour ended with Oz dropping us off at our hotel. I can honestly say Oz was a huge part of what made this tour amazing. He is extremely knowledgeable and engaging, and you could tell he really cared about us having a great time. For anyone considering a private tour do yourself a favor and go with Tailored Tours because you will not be disappointed!

Oliver (Oz) was a wonderful tour guide. The trip to Stonehenge, Bath, and Cotswolds was perfectly planned to beat the bus crowds visiting these sights. My friend and I were traveling with our Moms and this private tour allowed us to learn the history, culture and some witty tidbits of information you most likely would not hear over a bus speaker. He was open to fielding any questions we shouted out at him. A real intimate experience and truly a tailored tour which was perfect for our Moms. We enjoyed this trip so much we booked another to Canterbury Cathedral and the White Cliffs of Dover. That experience was wonderful too!

Oz planned well. Our excursions were planned to miss crowds, to have adequate time at the sites, and to include special requests. His commentary included information preparation before arriving at the sites as well tidbits, amusing and serious, about the city and the countryside we passed through. Last but not least, he accommodated my disability at every stop.

Excellent experience of some unforgettable, incredible places. Oliver, “Oz” is a fantastic tour guide and has a wealth of historical information that truly made this a one of a kind trip. We all would recommend highly! We so enjoyed we booked a second trip to the Cliffs of Dover and Canterbury Cathedral.
