We definitely offer the most complete, entertaining and customized Gaucho Day you can find in Argentina !
Take a deep dive into Argentina’s gaucho culture on this day tour and explore with a local guide who knows the intimate details of life in the Pampas!
We will show you around our colonial town. We’ll visit buildings which previously held and century-old bars, the parish of San Antonio de Padua and various local craftsmen, including the Draghi silversmith workshop. You’ll finish the morning with a visit to the Ricardo Güiraldes Gaucho museum and its pulpería La Blanqueada.
At midday we’ll take you to a nearby working Estancia (ranch), where you’ll ride horses to the open fields, feast on a traditional asado lunch (barbecue), and watch equestrian demonstrations and dance performances.
Our official licensed travel agency is made up of a warm and welcoming team, who share the same passion for history and Gaucho traditions. In addition, all our guides and drivers are bilingual.

This was such a memorable day! Had a wonderful tour of San Antonio de Areco. So many local artisans applying their skills. Then out to a wonderful Estancia, where we were treated to empanadas, wine, and a full BBQ lunch. Loved the live music through lunch. We rode horses, and were amazed at the horse whisperer, who gently and acrobatically positioned himself around the horse. It was an impressive show. Julieta was a wonderful guide for the day. Be prepared though for the drive to the town from BA, and for the welcome committee of mosquitos. Still, would highly recommend this day, as it will be one of your best in Argentina.

Adrian was our driver and Pierina was our English speaking guide. Adrian is a careful and safe driver pointing out different features during the trip.Pierin gave a delightful narrative of the town and gaucho ranch, accompanied us around the ranch and helped us get comfortable mounting the horses. The horses are well trained, and delightful to ride. The ride on the pampas was about 40 minutes and a must do even for those who never rode a horse before. The Gauchos are very encouraging and caring. The meal was fantastic. Savory and accompanied by Malbec wine, great beer, or other beverages. The folk dance was a great time even as a participant. My wife and I enjoyed this trip emenvely!

What a great day out! Adrien our driver picked us up promptly for the 90 minute drive out of town where we were met by our guide Facu whose excellent English, detailed local knowledge and sense of humour meant that we had a really engaging walking tour of the town before driving out to the ranch. There, we had a really generous barbecue meal, a short horse ride, a gaucho riding display and a traditional music show, all of which we enjoyed. Overall, great value! Recommendations are to wear long trousers and long sleeves if the mozzies are out, and to arrive there hungry!

We were picked up from the hotel by car and the driver took us to San Antonio de Areco. There we were met by our guide Juileta. She led us through the small town and we were able to visit two silversmiths and a small leatherwork factory. Our guide also told us a lot about the life of the gauchos on the estancias today.
After that we went to the Estancia El Ombu.
After a short tour you could either ride a horse or take a ride in a carriage. For lunch there was a typical asado with plenty of meat and wine.
Our highlight was the subsequent performance of traditional dances and the horse whispering demonstration.

We are very satisfied with our trip. We were taken with a private comfortable car to San Antonio de Areco and back. The town and its gaucho crafts were very interesting. The estancia is excellent - horse riding was fun, the food is really great and the dancing and the horse performance are just the cherry on top.
Above all, this experience was made really great by our tour guide Julietta. She is fun, knowledgeable and helpful. We had a great time and appreciated her company very much.
Highly recommended!
