First they charge $15 for lunch which is definitely far above the rate available to locals, which is less than $3. I realized after the tour you can get a private tour for multiple people for $70 per car to Luxor. I paid $125 for the car. Horrible scam.

I wanted to write this very positive review for Hassan. My husband and I had the most wonderful experience driving from Aswan to Luxor with him. Not only was he very accommodating to our needs but he went above and beyond to make sure we understood the historical and cultural background of the sites we have been so excited to visit. I requested Spanish and the driver don’t even speak English at all. It supposed to be a private tour but the guide pull some other guys that offered $400 so it was not proveíste and she make more money for something I paid private. Guide does not speak Spanish properly and it was hard to understand. Other guides were coming alone and explain every thing in the places, but our guide just explained a couple of things and left us alone.
At the one the guide told us “if you want more explanations, you need to guy extra tip”
I paid the tour that included lunch but the guide told us that we need to pay the drinks extra and we had to pay also the drinks of the guide another $250 just for drinks.
At the end of the trip the guide was mad because we don’t have local currency to give EXTRA TIP even when she make extra $400 for the extra tourist and the drinks.

We booked a private tour from Aswan to Luxor and it was great . We got picked up from our hotel early in the morning to avoid the peak temperatures of the day, Our driver Chico was so helpful and professional which made our tour a great one . Good value for money and I highly recommend it .

We had a fun journey to Luxor from Aswan with Ahmed Fathi our driver. The car was comfortable and Ahmed made sure we were having a wonderful time. He played nice Egyptian music as requested and was very respectful. My friend and I travelled alone and he made sure we were safe and protected us during the journey. He kept telling us about landmarks as we drove around and we could tell he genuinely cared to keep us happy which felt great. He helped me shop as well with good prices and gave us some nice Egyptian coffee along the way. He helped us cover all the sites we wanted to visit and I’m so so happy we got him to be with us during our trip to Luxor. 10/10 for sure !

This was a nice day trip from Aswan. Most places only have day trips to Aswan from Luxor so it was nice to find. I chose to only have a driver, not a guide, because this was my second time in Egypt. If you are an experienced solo traveler and want to spend time alone at the sites in Luxor, I highly recommend this experience.

Amazing day in Luxor! Coming here and taking this tour with Salwa was everything I was hoping for when I planned to come to Egypt. Informative and educational, I had fun seeing the sights and learning not only from the rich culture of ancient Egypt but customs in today’s modern lifestyle translated by Salwa into one great morning and afternoon.
