We were picked up at our Porto hotel and everything was excellent. Carlos took us to all the interesting places and we could stop for any reasonable time. Aveiro is beautiful and full of colour. The area by the old fish market is particularly colourful. Note, many tourist shops close for lunch and the park area by the quay is being renovated. They would not stop me recommending this trip with Carlos. All in all an excellent escape from the big city to a quieter but equally interesting destination. Of our 3 days in Porto, this was our favourite!

The tour with Carlos was exceptional. We went to Aveiro and toured around. Had a tasty Portuguese treat at a bakery and took photos of the boats in the canals. We then went to costa Nova to see the striped houses had a lovely lunch and saw the powerful waves in the ocean. Then went on a ferry to a natural parkland. He also stopped for us to take photos of the colourful boats. Toured Gaia as well. Carlos is a wonderful tour guide and answered many questions about Porto and Gaia. I would highly recommend his tours to everyone. Thanks Carlos for an amazing day.

This was an absolutely great tour choice. I loved the diversity of sites offered. Sites and activities included the train station, the salt fields, the opportunity to enjoy a gondola ride at an additional cost, the Costa Nova houses, and many more. The fish market, also on the itinerary, was closed, so we could not visit.
Carlos was extremely informative on many subjects, timely, and had very good English.
The only reason I gave the tour a four rather than a five was because I was expecting to return to the hotel at 6:00 and when we were back at the hotel at 4:30, I wondered why. I checked the itinerary and discovered that the last visit listed on the agenda was a 45 minute stop at an animal sanctuary. No mention was made as to why this was not included. I was disappointed by this omission.

This was day two of private touring with Carlos. After the full day in Fatima, we talked about other places I hoped to see and together, a very personalized tour developed. It would be a long day and yet Carlos had no complaint but to make my stay special and personalized to answer my hopes. Again, I recommend him to solo travelers for easy, safe, comfortable touring with attention to specialized touring. Absolutely Incredible day!! Too many pictures to choose from.

Carlos did very best to introduce the beauty of Portugal and we can enjoy the places so much. We do feel Carlos trueheartedly treat us very well and give very special care to my kid. Would definitely join his tour again next time when I go Portugal again. He is really professional!
