We were picked up by Charlton who was immediately friendly and warm. Though he admitted he wasn’t a wine drinker himself he was very knowledgeable about the area and the places we were visiting.
As we were picked up early Charlton took us to Vergenoegd Low parade of ducks. To see 80ish ducks parade was a wonderful sight.
We then headed into Stellenbosch itself for a quick wander (20 mins) before heading to the four wineries. All wineries were set in stunning locations and had lovely wine but our consensus was that Delaire Graff was the favourite.
Take note, every winery is very generous with their pours, so each glass is equivalent to a UK bar small wine. By the end we were asking the last winery to decrease the pour size as we were all def feeling it.
