A full immersion in the archaeological history of Naples. You will walk the streets of the ancient towns of Pompeii and Herculaneum and climb to the top of one of the most dangerous volcanoes in the world. Your driver will accompany you throughout the trip, giving you an explanation of the places visited on board the vehicle.
The visit inside the archaeological sites takes place in total autonomy and you will be free to move around the ruins as you prefer. Please remember to book your tickets in advance at Vesuvius because they sell out quickly. Recommended ticket time: 11:00pm.
You can buy tickets for Pompeii and Herculaneum on site.
The tour ticket is not the entrance ticket to the archaeological sites.
Guide services and audio guide within the archaeological sites are an extra service available on request to guarantee you total independence in the management of your leisure, whether you want to walk alone through the ruins or you want to enrich the visit with a guided tour.

1. Parco Acheologico di Ercolano
Smaller than Pompeii but in better condition because protected by a mudslide, Herculaneum was discovered in a completely random way, through the excavation of a well in 1709, during which marbles and statues that adorned the Teatro dell'antica came to light city. And thanks to the importance of the works found, such as mosaics, paintings, internal and external environments, the excavations of Herculaneum are one of the most prestigious monumental complexes of classical antiquity and you will admire and discover its treasures through a guided tour without equal.
2. Vesuvius National Park
Vesuvius is the only active volcano in continental Europe, as well as responsible for some of the largest volcanic eruptions on the continent. Although it has posed a threat in the past, it remains forever one of the cardinal symbols of Neapolitan history and culture. Going up to the top, along the way you will admire the works made entirely of volcanic material by artists from all over the world and once you reach the highest point, you will enjoy one of the most extraordinary scenarios in the entire Gulf of Naples, learning the history of that that the Neapolitan people call "Good Giant".
3. Pompeii Archaeological Park
You will visit the ruins, you will breathe the history, art and archeology of the most acclaimed open-air museum in the world. From the Temple of Apollo to the Baths, the House of the Faun, the Amphitheater ... Pompeii is waiting to be discovered, an unforgettable experience just like its history. The excavations dominate the center of modern Pompeii, and right there, a few steps from the past, you can visit one of the oldest coral factories in the city, admiring the masterpieces of local artisans, made according to ancient Greco-Roman traditions.

The best part of our experience was our driver Aldo. Super nice and knowledgeable.
Please read the small print. This was only transportation not a guided tour, We had to hire a guide in Pompeii and the audioguide in Herculaneum. Vesuvius was closed because the day before a railing had fallen,

The guide's enthusiam was infectious. It was a well-paced, two hour guided tour. The narrative behind the exhibit told a story of a long ago time which gave the antiquities context.

Francesca (guide) and Francesco (driver) were both excellent. Two things which dropped a 4 star experience to a 3 was that the private car was replaced by a minibus (and there were only 2 of us) and that the Vesuvius ticket site was malfunctioning which caused a delay waiting in the car park. What would make this a 5 star experience would be if the tickets were included and if the guide showed you around (she waited with the car).

Had a great experience in Naples with Di Sarno Car Service. Our driver was David and he was fantastic. He was a very good driver and knew enough about each location to give us an overview of everything. He is “working on his English” but we had NO PROBLEM understanding him at any time. We DID have a guide for Pompeii which was helpful to understand history and the engineering of the city but we didn’t need on for Vesuvius or Herculaneum. Our daughter is coming here next year and she will use David then.

Our family day tour was excellent - a very efficient way to get to 3 major sites in a day. Our driver Salvatore was punctual, friendly and informative. Our guide to Pompeii and Herculaneum, Elvira, quickly took us past the crowds and told us so much about the sites. Although it seemed expensive initially, the arrangements were easy to make despite our changes, and on the day it was so comfortable and easy and we learnt so much that it was absolutely worth it.

Antonio was excellent!! He was polite, courteous, patient, and always on time. He even took time to give us a little tour of Naples afterward. However, know this is just chauffeur service. Does NOT include tix to any sites but “skip the line” are available at pompeii. We did not need skip the line for Herculeum and Vesuvio tix HAVE to be purchased in advance. But was worrh the private car service for sure.

Our family (of 8) modified this tour to a 4-hour private transfer and private tour of Pompeii. This private tour was amazing......all coordinated through Di Sarno Car Service. Our driver was fantastic, and the tour guide in Pompeii was absolutely terrific. We topped this off with a visit to a winery for some wine tasting (Mt. Vesuvius wine).....one of the best experiences of our trip! Thank you so much!

We used Di Sarno services for our tour and we had an excellent time. Our Driver was Antonio and he was excellent! He gave us a great history lesson on the surrounding areas and was a pleasure to spend the day with. He also has great recommendations if you need to stop for a bite to eat or a drink.

This was a wonderful day and worth the expense to have the private car. After a week of navigating on our own, we were happy to have someone who knew all the ins and outs of the sites were were wanting to see. Our driver was very kind and knowledgeable, taking the time to tell us about other sites as we passed them. He also had the best recommendations for lunch. If you are in for the private car, I'd advise asking for tour guides as well at Vesuvius and Herculaneum. DiSarno arranged it for us and it was worth the extra cost!
