A full immersion in the archaeological history of Naples. You will walk the streets of the ancient towns of Pompeii and Herculaneum and climb to the top of one of the most dangerous volcanoes in the world. Your driver will accompany you throughout the trip, giving you an explanation of the places visited on board the vehicle.
The visit inside the archaeological sites takes place in total autonomy and you will be free to move around the ruins as you prefer. Please remember to book your tickets in advance at Vesuvius because they sell out quickly. Recommended ticket time: 11:00pm.
You can buy tickets for Pompeii and Herculaneum on site.
The tour ticket is not the entrance ticket to the archaeological sites.
Guide services and audio guide within the archaeological sites are an extra service available on request to guarantee you total independence in the management of your leisure, whether you want to walk alone through the ruins or you want to enrich the visit with a guided tour.

We had the BEST day with Cesare! He didn't just drive us to the sites, he gave us color and historical background. He also gave us very good guidance on how to best work our way through the sites.

Giovanni our driver was very courteous and made sure we had plenty of time to do and see the things we wanted. He got us back to the ship in plenty of time. If we come back we would most definitely ask for him again!

Giovanni was terrific. Good English, knowledgeable, and flexible. He gave us great information and helped us find great guide at the last minute at Pompeii (Daniel). Made a long, exciting day relaxing and doable. The van was super comfortable for four people and clean.

A truly amazing tour, LUCA was a great companion, very kind and cheerful, he explained all the places to us, he had all the attention and thanks to him the 3 visits became a great experience!
They are sites with great history, Herculaneum as a prelude to Pompeii, Vesuvius to know the origin and Pompeii as the epicenter of the disaster, as a suggestion, dedicate a day only to Pompeii, which is very worthwhile.

Please read the small print. This was only transportation not a guided tour, We had to hire a guide in Pompeii and the audioguide in Herculaneum. Vesuvius was closed because the day before a railing had fallen,

The guide's enthusiam was infectious. It was a well-paced, two hour guided tour. The narrative behind the exhibit told a story of a long ago time which gave the antiquities context.
