1. Jerash Ruins
Jerash is an ancient Roman city that is one of the best-preserved archaeological sites in the Middle East. It is located about 48 kilometers north of Amman and can be reached by bus or taxi. The city was founded in the 2nd century BC and flourished under Roman rule. It was a major center of trade and commerce, and its well-preserved ruins include temples, theaters, baths, and colonnaded streets. Some of the highlights of Jerash include: The Arch of Hadrian: This triumphal arch was built to commemorate the visit of the Roman emperor Hadrian in 129 AD. The Temple of Artemis: This temple was dedicated to the Greek goddess Artemis and is one of the largest and best-preserved Roman temples in the Middle East. The South Theater: This Theater was built in the 2nd century AD and could seat up to 5,000 people. It is still used for concerts and performances today.
2. The Citadel

Bardaghawi Mohamid was a great tour guide taking us around Jordan and to Jericho. He was on time, and gave us plenty of time for each stop. He also treated us to a delicious desert, Turkish coffee and cold water. He made for a very enjoyable day and I would recommend using him as he is a great guide and very personable.

Our tour guide was Yusuf. On time to pick up, very informative about the site we were visiting, about the city, history, recommendations for restaurants and other areas to visit. Also, the company car he was driving was and very comfortable.
This was a private tour and we will definitely recommend our tour guide.

Glad that my husband and I had proceeded with our holiday plans to Jordan. We feel safe and peaceful in Jordan despite situation within the Middle East. We met many tour groups throughout the trip, business as usual for tourism!

Our driver Bardaghawi Mohammed was amazing!!! Not only did he take us around, he was very informative about the culture and places we have visited. He also bought us several snacks on the way to our destination and paid for souvenirs my family and I were going to purchase. He was also a safe driver and felt comfortable in his car. He made our trip very comfortable, offering us drinks and making the ride enjoyable for my family and I. I would highly recommend him. Thank you for making our trip more enjoyable, Mohammed!

We had an amazing driver: Mr Bardaghawi. He guided us through the city of Amman amongst the locals and then drove with us to Jerash. He knows a lot and can answer every question! We recommend this tour AND the driver!

This tour is a good way to see the ruins of Jerash and the highlights of Amman in one day. After a couple of hours at Jerash in the morning, which was about an hour drive from Amman, we then returned to Amman to visit the Citadel and Roman Theater. The driver Mahmoud was very friendly and was flexible schedule-wise. He also took many pictures for me. Overall I enjoyed the tour and would recommend it as a convenient way to see these sites.
