Hands down a must do while in town! Greg and the entire crew were amazing! The property is on the most picturesque location, staff were unbelievably friendly and knowledgeable. We were able to see the entire process from plant to bottle. Highly recommend. We will definitely return.

What a great tour! Greg was knowledgeable and a great host. We learned so much about the process of turning agave into delicious spirits and got to taste some of the amazing tequila they are producing. Would highly recommend.

This was a great experience. Our family (all young adult children) really enjoyed learning about the process and the history of the place. Our tour was thorough and our guide was incredibly knowledgeable. The space is beautiful - a really gem. Was a great change of pace from our beach and on-the-go activities. We did the chocolate paring which was perfect for our group. Thanks for a great day!

This was the highlight of our trip!
To be fair we are not the biggest Tequilla fans, and we weren’t converted (sorry Greg!) but don’t let this stop you.
It is an absolutely beautiful spot, and in the tour you get shown everything with a great sense of pride. From the farm, to the buildings and especially the family roots.
I definitely recommend the pairing at the end. Not only the chocolates (trust Greg about the Tequilla and chocolates!!) but also how everything is locally connected.
We recommend this to anyone who enjoys a tasting, Tequilla or a great distillery.
This one stands out above the rest!

The family and I really enjoyed our time on this tour. The facility was beautiful and very peaceful. A really nice change of pace from the hustle and bustle of PV. It was a quick trip there and back. Greg was very knowledgeable and took his time to explain the nuances of tequila and the process of making it. We also enjoyed the chocolate pairing with the drinks. I would recommend to anyone.

We had the best experience here on Christmas Day. Gregg, our guide, is a Master Agave Sommelier and introduced us to the rich culture and history of agave spirits in the region and beyond. He was very knowledgeable when it came to all the nuances of the production process and he also taught us how to taste the spirits like a pro! We definitely gained a greater appreciation for agave spirits and the diverse range of flavors it could produce. We went home with two bottles to share with our loved ones and to top it all off Gregg even sent us a list of restaurants to try! I highly recommend this tour for anyone who loves agave spirits and/or is interested in the rich culture of Mexico.

This tour and tasting at the Finca 18 distillery was truly worth it. Greg was so knowledgeable and I feel like I learnt everything there is to know about agave spirits. The place itself is so picturesque and beautiful. All the spirits I tasted were unique and truly enjoyable. I would highly recommend going for the chocolate pairing. If you have an afternoon to spare in PV I would recommend this without hesitation

Great experience for a little taste of real Mexico off the resort. Greg gave us a passionate and educated introduction to the family owned business on a small finca outside PV. Was glad for a local driver but I understand that they will also pick you up for a tour. Would highly recommend if you want to learn about the different varieties of Tequila, Mezcal and Raicillas in an authentic ic setting. Thoroughly enjoyed it and were lucky to be there when the first delivery of the season of freshly cut agave was delivered.

Such a great experience! Greg was amazing, texted the night before our tour and set up a time for pick up (with transparent pricing). We were so surprised to hear that he was going to drive the 50 minutes each way! He was knowledgeable and easy to chat with. My partner and I were lucky enough to be the only ones on the tour that day and had a blast. It really felt like chatting with an old friend. ALSO if you’re into animals as much as we are, don’t forget to say hello to Paloma and her adorable son whose name escapes me at the moment ?.
Tips:
- Get the chocolate pairing!
- If you’re on the fence about going, don’t be. It is definitely worth it.

Finca 18 is a beautiful family owned distillery with picturesque grounds that will calm your soul. Greg shared so much insight and wisdom with us about the different agave based spirits, how location determines what can be distilled and the different types of agave used for different spirits and blends. This was an amazing experience and my partner and I plan to come back the next time we are in Puerto Vallarta to see the progress Greg and his team have made with all the different spirit options, distilling methods and agave plants.
