On a day with pouring rain, our driver/guide adjusted our day and gave us far more than we could have expected any other day. She was delightful. Accommodated our time to the weather and found placed we would not have expected. And she got soaking wet getting pictures for me. What a wonderful find!

Keri was AWESOME! We (a group of five) signed up for the standard tour that includes the Raptor Center, Bear Fortress, and Totems. It was an nontypical beautiful day, and we asked her if she had other suggestions for us to take advantage of since we had the wonderful weather. She took us up to the top of Harbor Mountain for some spectacular views of Sitka! Keri also took us by a number of different areas of interest, and she was full of information about not only the history of Sitka, but also provided us with a lot of current information about the area. My driver was very helpful and knowledgeable. I was able to spend as much time as I wanted at the Fortress of the Bears and the Alaska Raptor Center, both of which were wonderful!

Carrie was the best! She’s lived in Sitka since 1979 and knows the area very well. She stopped whenever we wanted to stop. She told us about her friend Scotty who owns Sea Daddy. I asked her to stop there and it was the highlight of the trip! So unique and Scotty was so knowledgeable of the area’s history. I would highly recommend Carrie and make sure you ask her to stop by Sea Daddy’s.

Reserved a taxi private 3 hour tour. Wherever we wanted to go and visit what we wanted to visit. Our driver, Cary, was a local who moved here in ‘79. She had some great stories and historical info to share. It was an afternoon well spent. Highly recommend.

Kari/Carrie (sp?) picked us up on time for our tour. She was an amazing guide that knew almost everything about Sitka. She discussed all of our options and let us pick what we wanted to see. She also suggested a few must see things and we were open to all of them. She took us to a gorgeous lake where tourists did not go. The lake, mountains and scenery was great for pictures. She also took pictures of our group which was very thoughtful. We also visited the raptor center and a park with totems which they also made there. She would stop and discuss specific heritage points and allowed us to get our for pictures when we wanted to. We also saw waterfalls and stopped to watch an airplane land on the water. Great photo op. The tour was for 3 hours but lasted a half hour longer since she wanted to show us some additional things that she thought we would like (she was right). She knew a lot about everything and we learned a lot about Sitka. I would highly recommend this tour!!!
